I listen to the sound clip again, at 32 and 45 seconds I can hear that strange noise, like metal flapping but it’s definitely not a pinging sound. Have you given Ford Performance the clip? I’d like to hear the response to the recording.

Yes the dyno numbers are not good. I’ve never put my car on a dyno so I can’t say what if any impact power pack 2 had on my car. Are you going to go back to stock?

I’m still not certain it is pinging, the engine puts down a lot more power and runs smoother and cooler since power pack 2 was installed. I wondered if the sounds we hear is coming from the open cold air intake. Since the noise isn’t a true pinging sound?

I listened to your recording and I hear the exact same sounds you hear from my car after I Installed power pack 2 last year. Only noticeable when the sound can reflect off a surface like a wall. Since I have not gotten any engine lights or codes I figured I was hearing things.

I had to pull out everything when the bolt snapped. The adapter and throttle body housing are much stronger then the bolt supplied. I would assume that to protect guys like me that don't read carefully. I doubt the bolt can hold more then 20 ft/lbs of force.

Nope the bolt broke, so no damage done to the throttle bony. But that's what happens when you rush read the instructions.

Agreed, buy a 17 this coyote motor has been used since 2011. I know in 15 they upgrade the engine. But the design wasn't altered.

Get a strut tower brace and steeda rear subframe braces as well. Makes the car feel totally different. The handling and sharpness in steering is very noticeable.

I never buy a first year car, always issues. The engine is total redesign and a new 10 speed auto spells recalls to me. I'll take the 17 over the 18 any day.
