  2. I love my Whipple.

Thanks for the howto on how to fix the hose kinking problem at the reservoir fill neck. I've ordered the hose you identified, and will be replicating the fix you outlined.
  3. Help! broken connector while removing valve covers

Thanks Kahboom - So far that's the only connector I've managed to break during teardown for OPG install. Should be back on the road tomorrow!
  4. Help! broken connector while removing valve covers

I attached pictures, but they disappeared from the post https://i.imgur.com/haYb45c.jpg https://i.imgur.com/7qQvSpg.jpg https://i.imgur.com/VPQznGe.jpg I really need to get on the road by tomorrow, and was hoping to fix, and replace later - I do have some dsub pins and a crimper -...
  5. Help! broken connector while removing valve covers

I managed to get too enthusiastic with this connector whiel taking my valve covers off, and have pulled the wires from the plug. I have a soldering iron, and some picks/screwdrivers to fix it with, but am not sure where to start. Can anyone point me in the right direction? Also, I need to...
  6. MBRP full system (headers and catback) too loud

I had the pair of Pypes M-80s installed today, along with 4inch quad tips, and those resonators have made the magic happen! At idle, the car seems even quieter than it was prior to the installation of long tube headers, but when opened up, makes a fantastic sound. The harshness is completely...
  7. MBRP full system (headers and catback) too loud

Watching the videos convinced me to order the M80s. A less expensive option than electing to replace mufflers right off the bat. Thankyou for the suggestions
  8. MBRP full system (headers and catback) too loud

So a pair of these might do the trick? http://www.jegs.com/i/Dynomax/289/24248/10002/-1 or https://www.amazon.com/Vibrant-Performance-1794-Bottle-Resonator/dp/B001804TPI
  9. MBRP full system (headers and catback) too loud

I've been running the MBRP street catback system on my 2015 GT for a year or thereabouts, and was very happy with the sound. In my pursuit of HP gains (stage 2 Whipple on order), I had MBRP catted long tube headers installed. The fitment is great, and I'm sure when paired with the...
  10. SYNC Conversion Harness Question

Exactly what I needed to know, thanks X0AYHAM0X - you have made my day! I didn't have the official pigtail, so re-purposed a 4 pin connector I had lying in my PC spares box, then made it all look neat with tape. Was able to avoid frying a second hub.. ApplePlay is working well. All I need...
  11. SYNC Conversion Harness Question

Thanks for your reply, I have seen that thread, however since I have a base GT, the existing harness is just for the aux sound input, and doesn't to my knowledge have an appropriate power wire (the harness only has three wires).
  12. SYNC Conversion Harness Question

I've done the 4" to Sync 3 conversion, and successfully tested CarPlay using a cigar lighter adaptor I had to hand. When it came to hard wiring it in, I tapped from the two wires to the cigar lighter in the armrest, and fried the hub. I assume I reversed the polarity. Now that I have had...
  13. 10inch rears and other questions (2015)

Hi, I have a 15 PP GT and want to fit the 10inch rear PP style rims from American Muscle - http://www.americanmuscle.com/performance-pack-black-19x10-2015.html Is it then possible to fit the stock rear PP rims to the front, or is the offset wrong for this? If this is a no go, then I will...
  14. Paint code question

Thanks guys - I know what I need to order now, and good tips on filling the chip.
  15. Paint code question

Morning, Quick question - does anyone know the paint code to touch up some minor rash on Performance Pack wheels? I'm seeing M6373 and M6373-W when searching, is it either of those, or different entirely - also, are the pens effective, or would I be better off with a brush for paint and...
