I have a 2016 Mustang convertible. It has heated and cooled seats. The heating works great. Very hot. The cooling really does not work at all. The seat bottom cools a little on the highest setting, but I would swear the back actually gets warmer. It does not make any difference if the...
My mustang has just over 1800 miles on it. My rear tires are both at 6/32 (left is closer to 7/32). (fronts are both at 9/32)
I am an adult driver and do not do burnouts, slides or any of that stuff. Maybe I take an exit ramp fast once in awhile, but I am really not abusing this car. In...
OK guys. This will be my first winter winterizing my new Mustang. I have a Battery Pro Tender, but the battery in this car seems to have very odd terminals. I have two circle leads that typically get screwed down over terminals, but this battery has like 1cm diameter posts. Where are the...
Can someone explain how this works? I have an iphone and a 2016 Mustang with Sync 3. I plug in my iphone via usb into the dash and start the apps on my iphone (dominos, Glympse, etc) and nothing shows up on the Sync 3 app screen other than Sirius Travel Link. I have apps enabled under...
Test drive one of each. I have the vert and noticed a huge difference between the PP and the non-PP. The PP vert is far stiffer. It was a no-brainer for me.
I have the Sync 3 and the outside temp is at the top center of the home screen. My car is parked in a shaded garage. Temp inside the garage is in the 70s. 80 tops. Often, when I start my car the ext temp is displayed as more than 100 degrees. Sometimes 101, 102 - I've even seen 110. The...
I had issues installing mine and was told to twist it to help make the connectors point in the correct direction. When twisting it, the can unscrewed at the top break - as shown in the photo attached to post 15 of this thread. It was then twisted back and then I was told to adjust using the...
Wait. What?!?! Are you saying that I might have destroyed my catch can by trying to open it by unscrewing it? You guys told me to unscrew it when we were trying to figure out how to get it to fit into my car! You might have put a lot of time and engineering into designing this, but the lack...
I got upgraded to the GT-H earlier this year. I was about done with my M3 and was looking at new cars. I had never even considered a Ford before, but was pretty impressed with the Mustang. When I got home I checked out the higher trim packages and compared it to the other cars I was looking...
I completely disagree. The infotainment system with nav in my Mustang is - by far - the best I have used in any car. Better than the one in my BMW. Better than in a Lexus. Better than in my wife's Acura.
Has anyone actually ever used the two side caps? I tried once when it was a day old, spent about 15 minutes fiddling with it, and gave up. They remain in the plastic bag in my trunk.
Could somebody please explain to me why Ford made the choice not to include hood struts in the first place? This is the first car I have owned (other than my old Jeep Wrangler) where the hood has a prop rod. What is the thinking on this in a $50k car?
Follow these ten steps and you will be fine:
1) your Mustang is probably the nicest most expensive car that has ever been parked at that hotel and the most powerful car those valets have ever driven; be sure to explain that to everyone in earshot
2) get a four wheel alignment before and after...
I have the auto wipers and think they work great. Much better than my old BMW auto wipers. The BMW required you to always initiate the first wipe after you start the car, then they would start, stop, adjust automatically. The Mustang wipers just wipe when it starts to rain - no intervention...
Not yet resolved, but the folks at UPR have been very responsive and are working on a fix. Trading lots of photos back and forth.
Just so everyone knows though, this is not intended to be nearly as simple an instal as the video makes it seem. The wiring connection to the AC line needs to be...
