I tried the update tonight and it didn't work... I have a 2016 Mustang, and I have an older build of 3.0 (17xxx)... When I put the USB in, it tells me that my system is already up to date and to remove the USB and restart. How can I force the update to the official version?
Yeah, after doing the upgrade and playing around with it for a couple of days, I'm convinced that using CarPlay is a step backwards, especially in a NAV equipped car. You lose Sirius Travel link, Sync Maps, temp display... you also have to switch back to Sync to see radio and XM stations. The...
There's more to it than what the videos show... the Official Ford Link on page one doesn't have the same names or format of files as the mirror links. I downloaded from the official ford link, and had to manually rename each of the files and create a folder called "syncmyride" to put the files in.
OK, that might have been the problem. I downloaded from the Ford link on page one, and this was the way the files were formatted. I put them all in a syncmyride folder, and it seems to be working now. It's updating as I type...
I have a navigation 2016 Mustang. I downloaded the file from page 1, but when I plugged the USB into the car, I got an error message saying there is not enough room to do the install. Is there more to this upgrade process than extracting and plugging in the downloaded files?

Are you tracking the car? Autox? If so, get summer tires, and swap in the winter. For everyday driving, depending on how hard you drive, good all seasons may be fine.
I have done all seasons and summer tires, and for normal everyday driving the all seasons are a good compromise. You get...

Do you know if those are the same sensors used for the "Reverse Sensing System"? I have a 2016 Ecoboost Mustang, and came here wondering if I could swap out the standard mirrors for BLIS mirrors.
