  1. NEW SYNC 3.0 Build 20204 Nav Android Auto/Apple Carplay

I tried the update tonight and it didn't work... I have a 2016 Mustang, and I have an older build of 3.0 (17xxx)... When I put the USB in, it tells me that my system is already up to date and to remove the USB and restart. How can I force the update to the official version?
  2. Help with Apple CarPlay and navigation

Yeah, after doing the upgrade and playing around with it for a couple of days, I'm convinced that using CarPlay is a step backwards, especially in a NAV equipped car. You lose Sirius Travel link, Sync Maps, temp display... you also have to switch back to Sync to see radio and XM stations. The...
  3. NEW SYNC 3.0 Build 20204 Nav Android Auto/Apple Carplay

There's more to it than what the videos show... the Official Ford Link on page one doesn't have the same names or format of files as the mirror links. I downloaded from the official ford link, and had to manually rename each of the files and create a folder called "syncmyride" to put the files in.
  4. NEW SYNC 3.0 Build 20204 Nav Android Auto/Apple Carplay

OK, that might have been the problem. I downloaded from the Ford link on page one, and this was the way the files were formatted. I put them all in a syncmyride folder, and it seems to be working now. It's updating as I type...
  5. NEW SYNC 3.0 Build 20204 Nav Android Auto/Apple Carplay

Tried again, failed again... Here's the files on the drive, and the error message in the car...
  6. NEW SYNC 3.0 Build 20204 Nav Android Auto/Apple Carplay

I think I may have figured it out... I didn't extract the files before putting them on the USB. Trying it again the right way now!
  7. NEW SYNC 3.0 Build 20204 Nav Android Auto/Apple Carplay

16 GB. The files all fit on the drive. The error message came when on the sync screen when I plugged it in to the center console.
  8. NEW SYNC 3.0 Build 20204 Nav Android Auto/Apple Carplay

No. I downloaded the nav version and I have nav in my car.
  9. NEW SYNC 3.0 Build 20204 Nav Android Auto/Apple Carplay

I have a navigation 2016 Mustang. I downloaded the file from page 1, but when I plugged the USB into the car, I got an error message saying there is not enough room to do the install. Is there more to this upgrade process than extracting and plugging in the downloaded files?
  10. Parking Sensors

Meh.... use the camera. I have backup sensors and they beep entirely too far away from anything to be useful. With the camera, at least you can see what's in the way. You just have to play with it... back the car up to something using the camera, and see how close it gets you.
  11. All seasons or summer tires?

Are you tracking the car? Autox? If so, get summer tires, and swap in the winter. For everyday driving, depending on how hard you drive, good all seasons may be fine. I have done all seasons and summer tires, and for normal everyday driving the all seasons are a good compromise. You get...
  12. X-Plan on New Mustang

X-plan can be used with the current cash back incentives ($750 as of today), plus private cash offer ($750 if you have it, order a brochure and you'll get it), College rebate ($500)... Probably others, but that makes a pretty darn good deal. Basically, $2000 below invoice without negotiating.
  13. WHAT DID YOU PAY!!!

2016 Ecoboost Premium Auto Trans, Wheel & Stripe Package, Premier Trim, Reverse Park, Navigation MSRP - $33,870 X-Plan Price $32,034 minus $500 customer cash, minus $750 Ford Facebook Private Offer I Paid - $30,784 Less College Rebate - $500 My total paid, $30,284 (10.6% off MSRP). Edit*-...
  14. Blind Spot Mirror Add?

Do you know if those are the same sensors used for the "Reverse Sensing System"? I have a 2016 Ecoboost Mustang, and came here wondering if I could swap out the standard mirrors for BLIS mirrors.
