Same issue for me earlier with an older usb ... go to Best Buy and buy a better usb. I bought a scan cruzer 32 on sale for 12 bucks. Went from 2 hours no results to 15 minute install.
Finally an update that went without a hitch via the USB. It took 15 minutes and I sent the XML file to ford. Haven't played with it to see what the differences are.
Soooooo
Ford hasn’t fixed this yet correct? They’re still replacing gears, driveshafts, rims etc ... with no luck. I want mine fixed but I want to wait till they actually know what’s wrong.
Well I got it to work somehow but it took a few hours but I removed the usb too early so I don’t have the xml file to report back. I’ll have to try it again one day. I don’t see any differences in the update.
What make and model usb are you using with success? Mine still goes on for 2 hours and I give up. Too much idling. I was able to get 2.2 via WiFi but no dice on the 2.3 through usb or WiFi.
I put in the washers and it feels slightly better. It may not be a total of 1/4 inch drop due to washer crush during torque. I needed longer bolts because one of them started stripping during tightening. I may end up putting in another washer. This only took 30 minutes in the garage.
This is the review Ill be following. Were on the same page ...some days its perfect others I wish I could turn it down lol. I never heard just the mufflers because I started with the resonator delete. So ...did this resonated x-pipe tone it down way too much you think?
