I guess I described it incorrectly. Yes it bangs off the rev limiter. But you can very much feel it pull fuel and cut power. “Falling on face” was probably a bad way to describe it. Regardless, the 7500 RPM limiter is there, regardless of what rev number the instrument display lets you set.
