I have a feeling that DTC is related to your issues. A quick Google search prompted me with this:

Causes for this code may include:
- Defective or dirty IAC valve
- Vacuum leak
- Open or shorted circuits or connectors
- Defective electronic coolant temperature...
It could be a number of things... but my first suspicions would be throttle body and/or fuel pump. I had similar bounching RPM issues (for years) but these occurred at a lower RPM range (I'd say between 800 - 1200 rpm). These happened on a few occassions, specially on cold starts. I noticed it...
Apologies for resurrecting an old thread but does anyone know if any dealership still offers a PP1 / PP2 for sale? They are no where to be found and I understand that buying a US supplied one is a no-go for UK/EU cars?

I completely agree with the "Your mate Tony down the road" statement. Especially in the UK, there are lots of mechanics/technicians out there that would happily part with your cash for some spanner monkey work but I am yet to find a sophisticated shop that really understands these cars from an...
I completely agree! I've been on the hunt for a PP2 spoiler for months but I can't find any information anywhere, neither in forums nor the usual OEM parts websites. Can you guys help!?
The closest I've come to is the non-track pack GT350 spoiler but that does not extend all the way to the...
I've been using Trust Ford in Erdington for the past 2 years. I can't praise their team enough. They always seem to show extra care to Mustang owners as well which is always nice to see.
I've had 2 successful warranty claims sorted out by them. The latter to do with my HVAC system (temperature...
It might as well have been a jointing compound Tim, I honestly don't know. Only relaying what they told me. Now regarding the smell, perhaps what they used was not odorless - at least until it settled anyway since I haven't had the smell back in months.
I hope it gets sorted for you Kristian! I know the feeling. I have a long story to tell about my 3rd (yes 3rd separate) warranty issue that I've been chasing with Ford since early August 2018. Still hasn't been sorted out. Nothing dramatic like a water leak but frustrating nonetheless...
Ha! I wouldn't be surprised Adam. :-) Nah, from what I understand, they screw-clamped a new resonator back in (as you would for an X-pipe of sorts) but also added some sort of adhesive where the resonator joins the rest of the exhaust system to eliminate any chance of exhaust fume leaks. Which...
Was this after continuous high revving of the engine at all? Have you had any work done on the exhaust?
I've had a strange smell after the dealership replaced my resonator (warranty issue) about a year or so ago, especially the first few days after the job was done and then maybe once every now...
Yes, I have spoken to Adam back in 2017 and he seems very knowledgeable. Due to budget constraints and the fact he's a bit of a drive away I haven't gone round to book in a fix with him. It's in the plans for 2019 hopefully.
Regarding @V8_MOTOR what's he done for you @Manders Mustang ? Re-seal...
Fortis Auto Design UK/US DRL conversion with sequential indicators and reflector tinting. Appalling workmanship and unprofessional attitude when challenged about it. I heard they were going out of business due to how many people have had issues with their DRL conversions and I really really hope...
(RE: B11E6 - Right HVAC Damper Position Sensor DTC mentioned by jperls above)
Do you think this has something to do with upgrading from a Base (i.e. non dual climate control) model to Sync 3?
Just checked the 2018 specs.. you are right. The new ones come with LED headlights. I'm having a regional/Ford UK technician take a look at the issue in early November (together with something else) so I'll have an update in a few weeks hopefully. All the best!
