Hi David, as stated in this topic a lot of guys are still using the standard exhaust because this one will not give an issue on annual control. I'd rather have a better sounding one but it needs to be TĂśV ok for Europe. Do you have anything?
On my main car I am using Waze through the telephone on Android auto full screen on the TFT in the car so instead of using the nice looking 3D but without speed warnings or trafic jams ... I now have Waze full screen and boy am I happy with it.
In the Stang it is adapting to the smaller...
Luckily there is Waze guys. I never use the GPS of any of my cars ... even the nice looking 3D. Just when you buy the car to see how it looks, then ... Waze.
Exactly the same system in Belgium with 4, 6 and so (depending on mileage - km)
So stupid those brands even try not to legalize their products. I am also into sales (IT & audio related products) and before we put a product on the market all are checked to be sure they are legal in Europe.
Correct, they only check if there is no pollution above a certain level and they should check if the CE label is on it. That is it.
If you are lucky they might not even look at CE one.
Yes and no ... what you say is correct but if you visit one of those countries, you have to be able to show that your exhaust is TĂśV allowed ... but this is only if they control but then again risk is limited ;)
That is indeed best solution IF you can switch it yourself. Unfortunately I cannot and to change it at that moment in a garage is for me too much. That is why I rather take one that is TĂĽV certified. Shame I could not be at Lux4 this year to hear differences.
I think that only the Ford Racing by Borla is allowed. At least it was like that in the past. Not sure if someone has one and can tell us if it is worth the investment?
If there are other that are TĂśV CE approved, let us know.
As far as I know, they did not.
In fact there is only one aftermarket that can be fitted. Here in Belgium if you go to control without CE, you can come back!
Unfortunately I confirm I will miss this great event this year as I am not able to attend (see supra why).
I know the hotel is fully booked so if someone has interest in my room.
Anyway nice drive guys and enjoy your stay and the road!
Hi guys very bad news for me. My friend who was going to come along with me this year has gotten a big problem. His wife had an attack and she is in hospital since Saturday. She cannot drive with her car anymore neither for at least 6 months and he has no drivers license ... so they are counting...
I am not driving a lot with it in general and last few weeks almost not. Might be just battery that lost some power. It is charging right now and gave it a try after few hours. Went up and radio worked again. Will leave it charging overnight now.
Update: all seems fine. Have been driving a bit...
This morning went for a ride with my car and no audio ... whatever I tried no sound, no mp3, no radio, no GPS, no voice from SMS. Battery dying on me?
Saw it is only 12,2V when driving the car. Just had a look now and only 11,3v when engine out.
Can I recharge it? Or is it too late?
Just for...
Just small info, your standard insurance never is valid on. A track. You can take specific insurance but could be very expensive..
Best is just do not crash :headbonk:
And if really needed, tow the car outside the track on regular roads
Nice pics like I said yesterday on Facebook Makis.
Do you go to Europe event in May? Would like to see all of this in real life.
But u r still missing my stripes
As told to Patrik, I will join you guys again.
Mike Clark & Ericc B will we do a "caravan" again like last year? Still a lot of time to go but was nice to drive together!
