Goosey will soon be in possession of my spare stock wheel, so he can give it the Royal treatment before swapping his over into the "M6G UK spare stock" cupboard!
Manders, can you please PM me Jack @ Royal's contact details? I want to see if he can create my ideal wheel, then I might well get...
Goosey, I've replied to your PM mate, let me know if you need any further details?
I believe we only have one "spare" set doing the rounds, & the splitter is currently an EB version? We might want to source a GT splitter, too so we can give the next in line the choice of either? I velieve the...
Sorry for very tardy reply to the thread, but I need to correct Manders (who has never been wrong before!). It was actually £200 for the dash (4 pieces, including removing & re-fitting) & £350 for the external bits (splitter, diffuser, & side skirts x 2, but not fitted, that was an additional...
If anyone is thinking of dipping their splitter, diffuser & side skirts, I have a spare set of the stock plastic variety. You could then get the work done without interfering with your car, then just take yours off & replace them with the finished article (& then return your stock set to me, or...
Loving the matt version of the carbon dipping Afdyce, it looks awesome.
I was unsure about getting the centre piece done, but having seen Centurion's interior that also looks really great.
It's just a never ending stream of mods ... !!!
Yes they are, they're doing a proper job for my £400 outlay (which I agree is very reasonable indeed). The parts have been sanded down to level, then rubbed smooth, then painted black, then dipped in carbon fibre, then finally lacquered. The result should be absolutely stunning (if their work on...
Hi Manders,
I didn't particularly like the red dot, & at the moment I'm really happy with the all over CF effect, but I might do the dot in a solid colour at some point as a contrast (black?).
I think the CF effect looks particularly good against a Magnetic background, it really brings out the...
If you look on Facebook for 'Detail My Car' in Newbury, they've posted up a load of photos last Friday which show the car & all the bits I've done (external & internal).
Hi Goosey,
I've completely "de-silvered" my Magnetic GT too! I bought black decals (5.0 decals x 2, plus the front grille running pony) & then had them dipped in carbon fibre. I've also got a black US-spec GT deck lid. I also bought black wheel nuts (transforms the look of the wheels). I'm...
I misread the thread title at first as "wife in the Mustang" & I thought "no bloody way, where am I going to fit the Mrs?" ... as for wifi, I'm afraid I can't add anything constructive to the debate, I just hit the start button & drive around everywhere & anywhere grinning ✌️
Hi guys, I'm in Lightwater, on the Surrey/Berks border (M3 jctn 3). Even in this exclusive part of the world my GT Fastback turns heads, even though it's the cheapest "supercar" for miles around, even the guys in the Maclaren dealer at Ascot stop & look when I cruise past!
I got mine from Think...
Personally, I went with a Stang related plate for the Stang, & I've kept my nickname related plate on retention. The Stang plate will always stay with the car, I think it enhances the look of it now, & if I ever sell it on (very unlikely) then it will enhance it's resale value. It's a win / win...
I'm a big fan of them, I've got 3 cars & 4 private plates (just waiting for enough budget to fix that anomaly!).
GT65 NAG cost me £399, & I've had almost as many comments about that as I have the car. My other private plate (SN02 RTY) cost £499, & I've already been offered £2.5k for it. So in...
Great post & Pics Manders, thanks for taking the time to summarise the day so we have a permanent reminder of what fun we all had.
Would be great to do this again, guess we need to push Ford to repeat it at some point!
It was great to finally met you all & pair forum names with real names &...
