Mine went out at 4,800 miles! I posted in another thread about my 9 day ordeal. Got car back last Fri. All working great. Tech did a super job. Not found anything that would reveal the whole dash was taken out. Hopefully no more issues. I buy new cars to avoid aggravation.

Well Friday afternoon I finally got a call the evaporator replaced. AC working!. Couldn't tell they had the dash off/ seats out. Great to have my car back. Every time I looked at my fusion loaner it reminded me I was 73. Got in my ECB/ manual and with the SOLO exhaust,I felt 21 again.:) Nick

Called for appointment on Monday, told to drop car off on Wednesday morning. Was told they were backed up and may get to it today(Thursday) got a text this PM. Evaporator being replaced. Hopefully can get my car back tomorrow. Only 5,000 miles. Sad.

Did a search and was surprised nothing showed up. My first issue after 1 year of ownership, ac went out with only 4,800 miles on it. Will I be offered a loaner car or am I on my own to rent a vehicle? Will Ford reimburse? Or, am I dreaming? I have USAA, I will check with them.

Loaner car? Not quite. Bought brand new. Had for just 1 year. Used ac a lot, yet many days during cooler weather Drive w/o with windows down. More so since I put a SOLO cat back exhaust on. On a trip will take to dealer next week.

4,892 miles. AC died today. I am still glad I live in Florida, though temps in the 70's not the 90's. Sad, actually pathetic.

Coming up on 5,000 miles. Changed oil around 2,000 to Amsoil about 8 months ago. Monitor shows 16%. 90% short city driving. I realize this may trigger all sorts of opinions, know this, I am open to others, hopefully knowledgeable, thoughts on this. Thanks.
