Get two people - one to use a rubber mallet to "tap" on the exhaust somewhere to make it replicate the noise, and the other to use their hands to locate and temporarily stop the rattle. Had to do that on my 2015 and it ended up being the primary tubes on my headers ever so slightly touching...
Thank you, @BluestreamDE, for sharing your experience with us all. I don't know if I could have been as polite as you have been through all of these posts.
I had already made up my mind some time ago who was tuning my 2023 when the time comes. I've seen too many times examples of Wengerd's...
If you want a directly connected mechanical feel, no lockout issues, and a shorter throw, go with MGW. Had one on my 2015 and loved it. It was stiff at first (not overly so), and loosened up a little over time. It's been a while, but when I reached out to George and his team, I could not have...
For the ease of use and minimal time it would take, I would try a black permanent marker to see how well it hides the scuff. It will eventually wear/wash off, but will take minimal effort and will go on smooth and take maybe 5 seconds per wheel.
I'd have a hard time trusting the shop who did...
20x10 front with 275/35 and 20x11 rear with 305/35. Minimum drop Steeda springs with Steeda pro-action non-adjustables:
I'll have to get some photos outside with better lighting at some point.
Have had this exact set up for a bit now, on both my 2015 and now my 2023. Used it on an AGM battery that was on my 2015, and for the stock battery on my 2023.
Used brackets to mount it to the wall next to where my Mustang stays parked in the garage:
I have the pigtail hooked up directly...
Glad to hear that you are relatively OK!
Many of these newer vehicles today do such a good job of protecting their passengers. Something many of us don't really think about much until we've "been there and done that". Just over a year ago a also had a "mishap" in my 2015. Worst wreck I've...
I've put two sets from Redline on a 2015, a set on a 2017, and a set on my 2023. Never an issue with any of those four sets. On my 2015 I was also running a heavier TruFiber fiberglass hood and the struts held without issue. At about 7 years old the original set on my 2015 got to where I would...
I have the AWE Touring. It's deep, and don't let the "Touring" label fool you. It's loud for a "touring" system, yet almost disappears at cruise. On my 2015, I had the Ford Racing Sport by Borla, and there is no comparison between the two when it comes to the deep tone.
Visited Oceanside about 3 weeks ago. Made a few trips down to San Diego, and a trip up north to Irvine. Loved the weather and the scenery. Everything else I could do without!
Unfortunately, I didn't record the process and don't have a spare lid to do a video on. Here are the basic steps I took, though:
Using a small drill bit, and being careful not to drill too far so you don't drill through the lid, drill out the plastic mounting tabs that holds the grill in...
I believe this to be specific to certain (i.e. newer) model years. My 2015 never did this; however, my 2023 I have heard the pump priming for no apparent reason. I don't recall if I had my fob in my pocket, and there is a good chance it was on the battery tender. My 2015 stayed on the same...
