Damn what a let down, I was expecting a comparison against a C7 Z06. A new Maxima probably drives better than his C5 Z06. At the beginning of the vid he's standing next to his C5 Z06 in a still photo.
Definitely take that as a compliment. Anybody that looks young and drives a car that has more exclusivity will usually receive the comment on age. The same holds true if you were driving a corvette, BMW 750, or Ferrari. Hopefully if all goes well in life the older you are the more...
I don't think it makes a difference if the ZL1 had 300 more hp than the GT350. GT350 will outsell the Camaro on looks alone so no I do not believe ADM/demand will go down.
If you can get the car at MSRP you're not getting hurt. You can basically test drive the car for a few months and then unload it without losing too much money.
Just saw the updates after I posted. 9k from the receiving dealership means 15-20 markup to the customer. I hope nobody buys it. Anyway glad to hear your fiasco is over with. Onto the next caper.
If they're holding your deposit back on purpose then make sure you get the full amount refunded. If there was a friendly dialogue about you paying for the return shipping and then having the balance refunded back to you then no problem, give them some money. But at this point it sounds like...
It's already been stated that the FPC engine is only slated for the GT350 so why would there be a commitment to improving it if there is only a two year run?http://www.autoevolution.com/news/ford-to-upgrade-the-shelby-gt350-s-52l-voodoo-v8-develop-new-transmissions-101972.html
If dealership A has a higher Mustang sales volume then dealership B then they get more allocations as well as quicker deliveries. I purchased mine from a large dealership specializing in Mustangs in mid Oct and the vehicle was delivered at the end of Dec. I have a friend who left a deposit a...
In my opinion you keep both if you have the financial resources and garage space. Keep the R under wrap as an investment and have fun with the regular edition. If that's not feasible and you have no interest in keeping the R as a long term investment then you're on the right track of selling...
That's quite a tidy profit at MSRP. I never even heard of dealer hold back until you mentioned it. When I was shopping for the non R GT350 all I kept hearing from my salesman was that it was a great "investment opportunity." I just laughed and asked him if Ford was going to stop making them...
15-20k right now sounds about right. I was offered one at 10k ADM back in October. 2017 MY is a go so there will be additional R allocations in the upcoming months but the most you'll save yourself is 5k. I don't believe any dealership will go below 10k ADM.
You said you would be driving on the weekend and tracking it, so why wouldn't you get the R model? If you have the opportunity to get the best version you do it. The only reason you would buy a 15 is as a potential "investment." If you consider it an investment then that would mean no miles...
Thanks for the honest review. After reading this and seeing more inventory starting to hit dealerships it does make me consider letting go of my pre-order. Order placed October/5k ADM. Anyway it sounds like you hit the nail on the head with your comments. Though when you say they won't make...
You're gonna have to do some real soul-searching here man... You don't get an R and start worrying bout tires, coverage, replacement parts, etc... You just get it.
But I can tell you this, the longer you wait to decide is long enough for someone without your dilemma to come along and buy it...
