  1. Aircon stopped working

:frusty: Agree with Drew, try another dealer. I had waited for approx. 5 weeks, till the dealer called me to bring the car in to fix it...
  2. Aircon stopped working

Got mine today. Both the evaporator and the compressor had been replaced. Dashboard looks good as for now. Looks like they did a very good job. Total time Thursday to Monday (they said they did also some testing during the weekend, before they closed the dashboard)

  4. Aircon stopped working

Have the same noise after regassing; like a turbine as you accelerate. I will ask tomorrow as I am getting it repaired.

  7. Aircon stopped working

They actually said that all 3 were back ordered. They could not give me an ETA, said something about a month but then again nothing certain... According to them it will probably need to keep the car for 2-3 days and I will get a loaner for the period. No re-gas though as it still has some in...
  8. Aircon stopped working

Went back in today after 2 months to check the aircon gas levels. Unfortunately my worst fears came true. Evaporator issue, part is in back order as mine is the 3rd car with the same issue and the specific part is in high demand in the US too...
  9. Aircon stopped working

Same story here... Aircon failed on the weekend (or at least I realized at the time). Booked with dealer's service, went in, no gas! Re-gassed and added the dye, in order to find the leak. I just saw the thread, honestly I can't believe that they are not aware of the issue (not that I am...

  11. What would you buy if you didn't have your Stang.

An Alfa Romeo 4C (as I can't wait till Gulia arrives :headbang:). Now that I have the Mustang... I can wait!!!
  12. Extended Drives

Inspired by Richard's drive I've decided to do something similar. So here I am in Canberra after 6 hours (un)fortunately I will spend the night there and back home in the morning. Average consumption 9.1lt/100km and speed 104km/h I will try to post some pictures (if not successful tomorrow when...

  14. Oil separators / catch cans

Emptied Ford's oil separator after 2500 Km almost 40ml of oil (and another 10ml at 900Km - total approx. 50ml after 3500Km). So happy I had it installed as soon as I picked the car from the dealer.
  15. Oil separators / catch cans

I have used the lid of a BIC pen to push the centre pin from below, while pulling the wires "gently". It was not easy and definitely was not as easy as it shows in the youtube video. It does require some force to take it out.

Hopefully they will change the limits back to the original ones...
  17. Australian spec Mustang owners photos

Not closed but there are road works everywhere (after Lorne to Apollo Bay) and they have lowered the limits to 40 Km/h. Until Lorne limits are a bit lower (60 where it used to be 70Km/h) and a couple of spots with road works with 40 limit.

    Afternoon drive...:)
  19. where can I go to install an oil seperator and catch can?

I have installed Ford Performance's Oil/Air separator, since "day 1" I have picked up my Mustang. I have asked the dealer about voiding the warranty etc. The response was that this can only happen (void the car warranty) if there is an issue with the engine and after detailed examination the...
