I cut mine off with a cutoff saw, then used heat shrink (black) to cover the raw edge and hold the tip on. Too ten minutes at most, works fine. Your mileage may vary.

Yup, a little body work, paint and back in business. "It is, what it is". Was still a great weekend. Been better if I hadn't been fighting post flu bronchitis but again "it is....well you know".

Doubt it rock created a dent but also went through the primer to metal.

I'm in however I have a dent in my hood from a rock, not huge but too big to just paint. Once I get that solved I'll want to do this.
