I have a full ARH exhaust with their catted longtubes and my tune has the high rpm cold starts disabled. I start the car with the garage door closed and open it after it starts. No complaints from my neighbors ever. It’s also quieter than most of the guys in my local group’s cars with just a...
I agree with most of what he says. The price is ridiculous, I think the glue on fake vents are ugly, and a Roush car is significantly slower than pretty much any aftermarket FI. The fact that it's still titled as a regular Mustang GT and depreciates like one also makes it not worth it in my eyes.
i called ARH and emailed Kooks about the 1 3/4 - 17/8 difference. Both recommended 1 3/4" for N/A applications, saying it would feel torquier and more fun to drive around town. I went 1 3/4" catted ARH with the x bottleneck kit with the ARH catback ( i really wanted to keep an H, but i don't...
price of bread in 1933 - 5 cents - using an inflation calculator to 2018 dollars makes that $0.98. I can get a loaf of bread at Kroger for 99c. Seems pretty fair to me, almost 100 years later.

inflation has generally been 2% the last few years from a quick research. I've gotten at least 2% every year at my job not counting promotions. Most of my friends are in the same boat. Maybe it depends on the area you live? I surely don't feel like I live in a "3rd world country". Having been to...
Works great on mine :)
I use a soft interior brush to bring the fiber up a bit too after it gets kind of compressed after 18 months or so of being on the car and it makes it look and feel new again.

the spring spacers won't really help. I have their ultralite linear springs with a 1/4" spacer in the rear (raises a 1/2") with 275/40's on the front so about 1/3" higher than the 285/35's you're running and scrape my ARH cats on my driveway which has a terrible angle.
it's my mystery rattle trap lmao! Once in a blue moon my sunglasses will rattle in there and i'll forget that thing exists and go hunting for my mystery rattle in the dash..........a few days later *oh yeah.......*
bone stock to a good tune is a night/day difference IMO. i've had PBD, AED, and a local dyno tune on my 15 and 17. AED is my favorite hands down, closely followed by the local dyno tune.
probably 50% louder. I had an ARH catback and went to a full ARH catted setup and it's really tame. loud, but tame. It's quieter than corsa sports / extremes or borla atak's and the like with stock headers. It's stock quiet when cruising and screams when you get on it. You'll probably be ok with...
I only gained 5hp from Steeda's tune required CAI. And that was from like 6000-6500. literally 0 anywhere else, back to back, same tune (adjusted MAF for Steeda intake). Ford Powerpack #'s are much the same on the dyno. This is Power Pack 1's tune and K&N Filter compared to powerpack 2's tune +...
If it had a targa and a manual i'd be all over it. As it is, it's not the prettiest car out there, but it doesn't look BAD in my opinion. The ZF 8 speed is a lot of fun, but for a 2 seater weekend toy (what my use case for it would be), i'd want a stick just for the fun. at 4.1s 0-60 it doesn't...
3M Primer 94 is the way to go to fix those issues. I have the CPC guards and like you, the front would just pop off and look like garbage. applying 3M Primer 94 before the tape has made them stick for about a year now.
You can get the GT350R sway bars and bushings/brackets for like 180 shipped. It’s a noticeable improvement over stock PP bars, and an easier pill to swallow than 450-500 that aftermarket charge, especially since the GT350R bars are the same, or very similar diameter to most aftermarket bars too.
from a dead stop they're not that impressive stock, but if it's a roll he could pull big time depending on the mods. I would assume if he wants to race you for money then he's confident and has more than just a tune and exhaust lol. i'd say 50/50. Best of luck!
The best sounding exhausts (to my ears) that I've heard in person are the Solo Mach XV, and the ARH catback .ARH is quieter and really deep, with no drone. I love the h pipe giving it a burblier sound, but the solo exhausts sound really good too, and aren't raspy. I think the solo xatbacks are...

couldn't help myself for 700 bucks off lol. Figured I'd spread the word for anyone else looking for headers.
