CrashOverride thanks for the thread..
Just got my bracket installed today and it is what you stated. Shifts are direct and easier than before. The vibration is there, but it makes for a better overall experience in my opinion. More muscle car/beastly and adds to the enjoyment of driving.
It’s...
When you’re talking about NVH, is it more vibration in the shifter or is it noise as well? I ask as I’m very interested in this. A little vibration in the shifter I can handle. It’s a Mustang, meaning modern muscle car, and a little vibration wouldn’t detract from what it is. If anything it...
I have 20" rims on 275/35 tires and i would not consider the ride harsh at all. Like Bmac stated, the wheels you have are heavy which might be contirbuting a lot to the ride. My wheels weigh (with tires) in between the stock 18" and PP 19" wheels which are both roughly 6-10lbs lighter than the...
I had an odd metal on metal sound only when turning right. Ended up being the dust shield for the front brake rotor rubbing. Just had to bend it out slightly and problem solved.
Yep, should have lower brace on this weekend. The difference the upper braces made was noticeable. More precise, and sharper steering and front stiffness.
Combined with what I’ve done suspension wise it is very satisfying when it comes to handling. I feel like I can whip it around corners! :D
I usually take my new cars into the dealer while under warranty for oil changes. If the old cover works at least I’d know they have to remove the cover and potentially avoid making a mess from not being mindful of covering the side of the opening from oil splatter. Plus it saves me a couple...
Thanks for the detail review. I pop into the Power Pack threads hoping for a review or comment and usually it’s full of warranty discussion.
Thanks again and great video:thumbsup:
I currently use Maguieres detail spray and pretty happy with it, but with those pictures I might give this a try next time.
Looks really impressive
Both are great options for a DD. The SP080 will have a slightly lower front stance/rake to it. Someone will correct me but the SP080 has a 1/2” drop rear and just about 1.2” drop front. The other has the same rear but roughly a quarter inch less drop in front.
Visually one will look even stance...
Somehow my last post I wrote didn’t end up posting, but Roadway summed it pretty well.
From what I see mentioned on the boards this can be caused by
Toe
Tire pressure
Tire tread
Road
Interestingly I saw people state that too much pressure would cause tramlining, bot Roadway...
BmacIl he has the same wheel setup that I have. He’s probably lower than me though.
I have Continental DSW 06. I’ve heard tires can effect how much tramlining you experience...
What tires do you have?
I feel for you. Seems like those either come right off or you’re fighting them. I hammered away at mine and gave up. I lifted it up to try to take pressure off the strut in increments and no luck.
I had the nut on the end as advised. All I did was end up stretching the bolt threads on one!
I...
