Born and raised in NorCal, spent 7 years in SoCal in the service, left as soon as I could and will NEVER move back. Great place to visit, love the weather, can't take everything else.
Proper gear selection is crucial to optimized et. As an example my 2000 GT with 252 SAE rwhp ran 8.10 in 1/8th and 12.76 @ 105mph in the 1/4 with 4.30 gears.
96-01 Cobras at the time were running high 11’s in the 1/4 with 4.56 gears and ~300 rwhp.
This is just my perspective, I had a T-45 with 4.30 gears in my old GT and loved first gear not hated it and that's with ~1500 less rpm.
4.09 is only 8% larger than 3.73.
I would love to get ahold of a 2018 manual with a set of 4.56 gears. The thought of it puts a smile on my face.
Hello,
I'm looking for advice on suspension parts for my 2016 Roush charged A6 Mustang GT.
I would like to be able to get it hook at the track but also handle better on the street in the corners. Best of both worlds...I know.
Currently completely stock suspension and it spins easily and...
I just picked up a 16 Roush Phase 1 GT auto a few weeks ago and I am looking for a drag/ street tire recommendation. This is NOT a daily driver but a weekend toy.
No worries about wear or rain driving. Just looking for the best hooking tire on the street without sacrificing too much at the...
Reds197 has had a 9sec Whipple and a 9sec twin, I would ask him.
My opinion, stick with the Whipple you have. All the power you need for a stock block.
For your application I would go VMP stage 2. If your not going to add a converter then in my opinion you will enjoy the TVS more than you would a centrifical .
