It would be cool to see if this can be used as a HUD for your speed as well as shift lights.

I also get rattle around that RPM range. I have a hard time determining where it is coming from. My only hypothesis is that it is due to the push down reverse mechanism vibrating up and down. I can push it down and let it pop back up and it sounds similar, just a much higher/ quicker frequency...
