This was part of the attraction for me... I got a bit bored of all the attention the Mustang was attracting.
C63 can be incognito (mostly) if you want it to be, which couldn't be said for my Mustang. :bandit:
I swapped my 2016 Mustang GT in Feb 2018 for a C63 Estate. Loved the Mustang but the C63 is ridiculously quick... when it works. :headbang:
I can well believe the C Class is the 6th most unreliable car. My C63 has been shockingly unreliable so far - in 10 months it's been back with the dealer 3...
Just coming up to 25k since end of March 2016. So far I've had 2 services, 1 set of tyres (changed P-Zeros for MPSS) and had the puddle lights replaced under warranty. I've also had to top up the coolant twice.
Also had a smart repair to the rear where I reversed into a stone wall in Devon...
Well just to bring this one to a conclusion in case it helps others, I tried checking all the fuses (all fine) and leaving it a couple of days to see if it sorted itself out, with no luck.
I then tried Manders Mustang's suggestion of disconnecting the battery for 15 mins, and this seems to...
Hi all
My car has developed another interesting issue and was just wondering if anyone else had encountered it?
Basically, all was working fine on Saturday morning, but when I went out again on Saturday evening I couldn't get any sound at all to come out of the ICE speakers. I've got a 2016 GT...
croyde - See my reply in the other windscreen thread. Autoglass should give you the OEM windscreen no matter what they say on the phone.
And yes, you could buy a second hand car for the actual cost of a new windscreen, so ÂŁ75 is really not too bad! :eyebulge::crazy:
Don't worry too much about this mate. I had mine replaced through Autoglass 2 weeks ago and got told the same thing.
As I was driving to France 3 days later I told them just to fit whatever windscreen they had. When the fitter turned up, he had the official Ford windscreen :D
Turns out the...
Great experience with Allen Ford Northampton today - replaced my stolen wing mirror parts one day after I called their parts department, and only charged me for the parts actually replaced rather than a whole new mirror assembly!
Top quality service. Recommended! :clap2:
GT here which is my daily driver. Done 23.5k in 16 months of ownership.
Fortunately my work gives me a car allowance...;)
Just back from a Euro trip too - autobahn was great fun! Suggest you try it in the Mustang if you get the opportunity!
Well I've spoken to Ford today and it turns out that as my thieving German friend was kind enough to not only nick the mirror glass but also the heated mirror element located behind it, the only solution is a new mirror assembly.
Which is going to cost me the best part of ÂŁ450...
So a bit of a strange one this!
I've spent the last few days at a lovely spa hotel deep in the Black Forest, Germany. I parked up the car on arrival at the hotel in the hotel car park and hadn't moved it for a couple of days, although I checked it every day.
I checked it last night and...
If its an Isofix one, you just clip the seat into the Isofix mounting points on the rear seats, then strap the kid in using the seatbelt as normal.
My daughter sits in an Isofix child seat in the back of my GT - its a bit of a faff getting it in there (and plugging in the seatbelt) but once...
