The GPS antenna ws under the dash, the roof antenna was for satellite radio. WIth Sync 3 they have changed the wiring and now split the roof antenna for both satelittle and GPS.

iTunes has an option to convert your AAC format to MP4. its been a while since I have used ITunes but its somewhere in the options menu. It creates a new copy of the track, then just use windows explorer filter for *.mp4 and copy them to a new folder, drop that into your USB and its done.

It is just an EU safety rating component, not even legally required in EU either. So removing them will not be in breach of any AU vehicle standards, only safety rating, that for pedestrian protection... and roos. One question though, Will you need to remove the modules and what warning...

Yeh I thought that was an obvious point with our head units, thats why I said updating amp and adding a sub will most likely improve it without swapping speakers. why would changing out the amp make things a bit messy?
