I know our cars have a vent in front of the tires in the front fender. At one point I thought it could have been air whistling through that but only front passenger side....

Right....nothing worked. Didn't matter what cord, what device, what software. Just a faulty media hub.

I posted this recently....had the same issue with mine and I have the shaker system. It's likely the media hub that will need to be replaced. Basically, mine would charge but the system didn't recognize any device plugged in....turns out faulty media hub. Was a 20 min repair and out the door...

Well got the usb issue fixed. They needed to order a media hub unit and replace it. Now the car recognizes the phone but updating mobile apps is a diff story....just keeps spinning and spinning. Yes first mustang....didn't know that Canada had issues with that. It's crazy that we don't have...

Same issue here....hold the speed at 39/40 km/hr, maybe 20 or 25 mph.....and I'm able to replicate it. Just happened to me the last few days.....sounds like a howling wind or howling whistle or something from the passenger side....possibly front but not 100% sure.....haven't taken it in yet.

The USB ports do not pick up any device, any cord, and usb device etc. in my case in using the iPhone lightning cable and an iPhone 6 and it charges, but does not pick up a connected device.
