What is the lightest someone has gotten their GT350 (or R) down to? Nothing too drastic like removing sound deadening. But rear seat removal, lighter rotors, tillet racing seats (8-9 lbs), full exhaust, lithium battery, etc.
I remember people buying the regular GT350 and the R, putting some miles on the car and selling while the market was still hot. Taking no loss and sometimes maybe profiting since they got the car at msrp.
I believe this will be one of the few $100k and under cars you will be able to do that...
With all this talk and excitement, how much ADM are you willing to pay to get the new Top Dog Mustang?
Just like the GT350R adm threads, only a few people admitted they paid adm, most said they paid MSRP (yea right), and some said they paid invoice. LOL
On a separate note, I imagine the prices...
Has anyone done this? I know on the other mustang site (Svt...) I always saw people with front toyo proxies and rear toyo R888.
What Im considering doing is adding Pilot Super Sport for the front with my rear Pilot Sport 4S.
Now I know these two tires are close in performance with the edge...
Put about 300 miles on these, they are too tall so there is some rubbing on the side wall. These were my front tires for the Viper, but they can be used as front or rear on the Mustang.
I'm located in Fremont California
Mustang 6G price: $550 (these are $350/tire new).
Look at the past winners:

2014 Best drivers car is a camaro z28. LOL, where are these z28's today? Not driven on the street that's for sure, specially if it had no AC or radio.
Motortrend = joke
Seems quite a few people here have experience with the Michelins, weather its Cup2's, PSS and PS4S.
Although my question is for a different car, has anyone tried mixing Pilot Super sport fronts and PS4S rears?
Right now there are no 285/30-19 PS4S, its available in PSS though. I'm...
I haven't seen him do a video since earlier this year.
I wonder if he sold it :ninja:
I did a search saying he was tagged in a post and the tag was removed, have a feeling he went back to BMW... :paddle:
I asked this in another thread and everyone was caught up on 1 person saying there is barely an improvement over the MPSS tires that are oem with the GT350.
This passed weekend I saw a GT350R @ Cars and Coffee Canepa on HRE's sporting the MPS4S tires. I wanted to ask the guy how he like...
Really cool guy, surprised to see a young guy (like myself) as the owner!
He had a GT350R, maaan what a beauty! I've only seen regular GT350s, but his all red R already had forgelines on em. I asked him to start it up and WOWIE, when you know you KNOW! Fucking bad ass, if I wasnt...
Just sold my '13 5.0 over the weekend and got a beater v6 '00 Accord (83k miles). I miss my 5.0, but looking forward to the next ride.
Anyways, what do you guys drive if the GT350 is a weekend warrior/Friday/sunny days only car?
I think once I get the next car, I will appreciate the DD along...
Those of you with the regular GT350 may or may not have thought of this, but what mods are you considering to be on the same level or higher than the R model.
Could start with lighter wheels, aluminum DS, back seat removal, lighter battery, remove passenger seat, replace driver seat with more...
So, who is still looking, and your location, perhaps not mind $5k adm? I figure this is a better way to help others into getting them into a GT350. No strings here, just helping out.
