I have a 2015 V6 mustang.
I attached a zip file with all the sounds that it's making.
1st sound is when I first started the car with the hood up and walked towards it.
2nd sound is when I left the phone on top of the engine and recorded as it idled and as I gave it some gas, you can...
Garbage as in almost completely worn down and need to be replaced or garbage as you notice the traction isn't as good? Lik do you know what number you were down to?
I have a 2015 v6 mustang, I do like to accelerate but being a v6 it's not like I'm doing burn outs. I got a pair of tires that were supposed to be rated for 50,000 miles but after maybe 10,000 they are at the point of needing to be replaced. I have no doubt my driving habits will not allow...
When you say you drilled small holes in yours, do you mean like you drilled holes in the indentations in the pic I posted? How does blocking air from going directly into the intake create better aero? I would think having a solid relatively flat surface would be the most un-aerodynamic thing...
I'm not really sure if this belongs here or not but I noticed that the Grille has solid plastic in the grille covering the air intake for the engine. I think I've seen other types of grills that either have an open space or honeycomb in that area. I would assume that nothing or a honeycomb...
To be honest with you, I think it's pretty dire. It makes this noise while idling now and it doesn't sound good while driving it which is why I have stopped driving it for now. I think it's possible I might even need a new engine but that I guess is the worst case scenario.
It's still technically under warranty but I don't think they will cover this. Am I best taking it to a mustang dealership or am I best taking it to a third party? Is one going to cost me more than the other?
I'm checking the oil with the dip stick and it comes up to about the fill line and then stops, then continues further up the dip stick, I've cleaned it multiple times and it keeps happening. I'm just curious is that because oil is stuck to the side of the dip stick? You can see in the pic below...
The part that attaches to the keychain broke off, what is my best/cheapest option to get that fixed? Can you just get a new plastic part for the fob? The fob still is fully functional.
i have a 2015 v6 with 18" wheels. I wore out the back wheels pretty quick. I live in NorCal and it rains in the winter is really hot in the summer. I want a good balance between long lasting tires and at least some cornering ability. Would anyone else here recommend tire brand/model?
I'm sure some of you will say the dealer or change it yourself, is there any other chain place to go that is known not to screw anything up on S550 mustangs?
Is it really humid where you are? That sounds like a relatively slow 0-60. Did you break it in already? Is it a manual? Is the stroller really really heavy?
I mean legal as they aren't going to tattle on me, I'm not going to get in any trouble, they aren't going to make me take it off and yeah I would def want the warranty to be intact. Also are there any good CAI's that actually take air from the front grill instead of heated engine air?
Is there any CAI legal for California? Or does everyone that uses one just have to remove it when they get their car serviced? Or have you found that even though it's not technically legal you don't seem to have any problems leaving it on?
91 Unleashed tune, best 0-60 from idle 5.6 seconds that was about 55 degree weather around 24 elevation I believe.
Best launch from somewhere between 2 and 2.5k rpm in the same location and temp was 5.4. I don't quite have the launch technique down, I believe if I get the technique down and it...
