  2. Sensor failings. You could have one too!

    I swapped my sensor, and I did get an improvement. Power delivery is smoother. Added about a +4 mpg increase. Still have a little stumble in the idle that I was hoping would go away, but Im still stoked! With wife driving yesterday, she got 35.7 mpg over a 120 mile stretch. cool!

    Im planning on putting my new sensor on this week too. all the symptoms you described fit mine to the T. Especially the part about it feeling normal. 45k miles and I have yet to really feel like the thing idled like a "new" car.. :headbonk:

    I was recently. The misfire was annoying the shit out of me, so I tried that, and a tank of 104. the plugs looked worse in the pic, it was only the threads that looked black. the insulators and electrodes looked golden brown.

    nov 2015 build here, I have been dealing with stuttering, missing and knock/ping on tunes and with the stock programs. only code that has ever been triggered is P0302 (cyl 2 misfire) I have tested with 91 and 104 octane, and got the same results. 44k miles, ngk 6510's gapped to .028"...
