  1. SCCA A Street(Auto X)The Beat Goes on

Gather data and write letters. The SEB is asking for feedback regarding moving the fast pony cars to BS from AS. That would include the PP2, 1LE, GT350, and some foreign stuff that I can't remember that is also in AS.
  2. GT PP2 Classification

Technically, a PP2 falls into FS until it doesn't. I believe there is a process in place for classing unclassed cars. Package conversion in this day and age wouldn't be fun. From what I understand, the calibration in both the rack and MagRide is different from PP1 to PP2 and getting those...
  3. GT PP2 Classification

It is very likely that it will be classed with the 1LE and GT350 in AS. The SEB is looking for member feedback about moving those cars to BS for 2019.
  4. FS Autocross Classing

Looks like V6 1LE will be added to the FS mix according to the new FastTrack. ***edit to add*** Shelf life of Street class cars is typically very short unless ES miata or C5Z
  5. SCCA F-Street Setup. What's Everyone Done so Far?

Can you cite a source for that information. Nothing I have ever read requires the angle or even the position of the hub for SAI.....regardless of number of ball joints.
  6. SCCA F-Street Setup. What's Everyone Done so Far?

KPI is the straight line through the lower ball joint and the upper bearing on a McStrut. No matter how much you slot the struts, the ball joint and the upper bearing don't move so KPI stays the same. Like Norm said, that is exactly why scrub changes when you adjust camber at the strut to...
  7. SCCA F-Street Setup. What's Everyone Done so Far?

But it's FS and camber plates aren't legal. KPI (or SAI) doesn't change when you slot the struts, but scrub radius does.
  8. SCCA F-Street Setup. What's Everyone Done so Far?

That's ridiculous but the rules are the rules. I had no idea the FSM had changed....in AS now.
  9. SCCA F-Street Setup. What's Everyone Done so Far?

If your 2016 service manual says 2mm then you are legal at 2mm. What am I missing?
  10. Maier JRi struts and shocks

Still have them and still want them gone. In case anyone missed it, the front struts will accept any lowering spring that you already have -OR- your favorite 2.5" ID coilover spring will also fit with the included, brand new in the box Maier camber plates. 2K gets them to your door.
  11. 285/35/20 vs 285/35/19 RE-71

10.5 is perfect for a 285 square setup and would be wayyyy better than the 9.5
  12. SCCA F-Street Setup. What's Everyone Done so Far?

My shocks are for sale. Very good bolt in solution for all of you in FS. http://www.mustang6g.com/forums/showthread.php?t=75105
  13. Maier JRi struts and shocks

Because SCCA autocross in a Stock class.
  14. Maier JRi struts and shocks

The Mustang is gone and so these should be too. FS legal JRi/Maier struts and shocks. Double adjustable front and rear. Struts will accept coilover springs if you decide to go STP or CAM. Included are a set of camber plates from Maier that I never opened. Struts are currently wearing stock...
  15. SCCA F Street Wheels/Tires

Tom drives a miata now. I also have CF5s for sale in PP sizes wrapped in nearly new RE71s. I drive a Z06 now so I won't be needing them.
  16. Autocross - do you leave your engine running between runs?

We leave it run with the hood open for two reasons. 1. If you shut it off it heat soaks and you end up with cylinder head temps over 220 for your next run. 2. We don't have to do the advance track dance more than once. It is too easy to forget so we turn the advance track off for the first...
  17. Benefit to autocross to learn car control?

Autocrossing will make you a better driver. Period. That will absolutely translate to a more rewarding HPDE experience.
  18. 2016 SCCA Pro Finale/Nats

I should have specified, 305 RE71s? All the mustang guys scared everyone else away from STP apparently. Go Oregon, get it done today.
  19. 2016 SCCA Pro Finale/Nats

Steve, nice job in STP! I see you picked up a co driver, is BoardKat's car busted? Anyone know if Cormier's car on 305s in FS?
  20. 2016 SCCA Pro Finale/Nats

Yeah, I'm bummed. I liked Angela's chances in FSL, we have both been driving better than ever (save for that miserable weekend in Milwaukee). I really wanted to like this car and keep it but this is two Mustangs in a row that haven't made it out warranty without a major issue.....I'm done. I...
