Thats the plan, just trying to think ahead. The only other mod (I think) that needs to be upgraded to handle big power is injectors. I'm around 800 whp right now and after being boosted since 2015 it doesnt feel like enough. Granted my gears are crazy long so i am sure a jump to 4.10 or 4.56...
Like the title states.. what does a used D1SC head unit sale for? I'm considering the D1X upgrade but at $1,700 it almost seems better to sell the D1SC and get an F1A94.
All I did was have them cleaned and flow tested. After that I just reinstalled them in the rails and popped them into the intake. Lund did all the tuning.
I have his triple pump system. I had some injectors that weren’t firing but once I got that lined out I had no issues, not even close to running lean now. Overflows the injectors sounds like a tune issue?
Almost assuredly you will need a shorter belt. Just a note, i went to swap pulleys today and the pulley was seized on the shaft. I had to buy a jaw puller to get it off.
i upgraded to big red about 4-5 years after having the procharger kit. I wish I would have done it sooner it’s badass and loud. You get used to it pretty quick though so it’s not annoying. Plus it sounds damn mean rolling down the street!!
Maybe another member can chime in and tell us. It will work, you may just need different fittings to connect to the whipple rails and depending on how you plumb the return (off one rail or both) you may need some more hose and fittings. I just ran one return from the rails.
I'm sure the OP is aware that people have supercharged vehicles in high altitude locations. If i had to guess he was probably more concerned about the tune and whether or not any changes needed to be made there to handle the elevation change.
Awesome, Congrats! Hopefully one day I will have one from them too. I was asking Lund about a built motor with MMR and they steered me away and told me they recommend RPG. Should be a pretty bad A build. Good luck!
Yep, you can, assuming you have the heads and everything else to complete it. I would go straight through RPG though. I was talking to them last week and for that same 1000 whp engine they charge $6,200 which includes freight.
