Good to know. After 70k miles though? Are they pretty reliable/easy repairs? I can do a lot of things on my own. Mine was reliable the time I had it, through 36k, but hey that's nothing.
Right now I'm specifically looking at a 2015 Ecoboost with 71k miles for $16k, and a 2016 Ecoboost Premium...
So here's the scoop. I leased a 2015 V6 base and loved that car. When the lease was up 3 years later, I went for something more practical. I'm back to shopping around and man....your average Econobox makes me want to blow my brains out. Now I'm trying to look for used Mustangs, 2015+. I don't...
Alright, it appear I may be wrong here then. I just assumed they would last just as long as key fobs I've had in the past.
I will try changing the batteries.
Honestly, I just don't believe that. I have had other key fobs that lasted literally years on the same battery - there's no reason that it just sitting there would kill the battery in the second fob.
Like I said, again, it only happens in the cold weather. The 'no key detected' also only...
No, but I have tried my second key fob and have the same problem so it leads me to believe it isn't the battery. Also, like I mentioned, it only happens when it is ridiculously cold. I never have this problem outside of December-February.
So I'm having a few different issues here with the key fob.
First off, it's been cold as hell here the past few days - around 0 overnight. This morning, I grab my keys and go to use the remote start - nothing. I hit the lock button and the lights don't even flash. I think I saw one red light...
No offense, but I just find this incredibly strange. Is she a bad driver or something? I can understand not letting your friends drive it, but your WIFE?
I don't know. To each their own I suppose.
Thanks for the update!
I originally replied to you when you posted this thread a while back; had the same issue.
But, it actually seems to have gone away. I used to hear it almost every time I started the car, but now I haven't heard it in a few weeks. Guess I'm going to leave it alone for...

That's how I do it at least.
The amount of sticklers ITT is hilarious.
You guys can believe whatever you want, but I am all for letting anyone I trust take it for a spin. I love the Mustang, but let's be realistic - it's not some six-figure costing car. And before that offends anyone, it's simply a fact.
Now some of you...
Not my picture but saw this on Reddit today. Not sure how I feel about it but figured it might be worth sharing.
It also sparked a debate between myself and another user who was arguing with another user about his car. Someone ended up posting a picture of a Tron Lambo that looks pretty...
Has anyone tried these? http://www.stage3motorsports.com/KSC654-2015-Mustang-Kicker-KS654-6-5-Door-Speaker-Upgrade-Kit-Base-Audio.html
I saw someone about 8 pages ago mentioned them but no responses to that comment. I don't know shit when it comes to car audio systems and either way I'm going...
I have an auto V6 as well. Roush Axlebacks. No drone honestly.
Starting to wonder where the discrepancies come from. I totally believe you its just strange that some have drone and others don't.
Love at first sight.
I was honestly looking for a new truck at a GMC dealership originally. After shopping around (and realizing I couldn't really afford a new truck lol) I ended up at a Ford dealership. Saw the Mustang sitting there, asked to check it out. I sat in it, went for a test drive...
I have the Roush Axlebacks as well; I was pleasantly surprised when I installed them and had basically no drone. You get a slight hint of it around 1800 RPMs but that's about it, and when I mean a slight hint, I mean you barely hear any drone at all.
Highly recommend the Roush Axlebacks; both...
Ugh. Yeah, I drive 30 minutes one way to work so I feel ya there.
I'm just trying to figure out what could be triggering it or if it's just completely random.
Only thing I can think of is that it rained pretty hard last night and this morning it wasn't working.
So I've had the car for about 2 months now. I get in today for my drive to work which is 30 minutes long, and go to turn on my jams :headbang: and nothing. No sound, no options, no nothing. It was as if the radio was off. Weird, because I never turn it off - okay, I'll just turn it on! Nope...
