You cross shop to get the best deal.
Never go into a dealer wanting only ONE car. It's always smart to start off with at least 3 comparable cars from different makers. Of course, that's going to be more difficult to do with the GT350.
That's an understatement.
If you go back further to the C5 area, those are some nice people, but the C6 and C7 people have some real issues that probably need to be taken off the forum and into a therapist's office.
That's because in Atlanta every moving object is a target. As a populous I have only seen one other city with vehicles that had as many dents, dings, or were missing entire bumpers, and that was LA.
I'm not a fan of the stripes anymore. Everybody has them in every configuration possible. I prefer a clean/subtle look as opposed to stripes. That's not to say I don't appreciate appearance mods, I do. Stripes just aren't for me anymore. 10 years ago it would have been a different story...
It's not, the rings still need to seat properly. And the idea behind changing the oil and filter at around 1k miles is to remove any metal debris/shavings that the filter will pick up during break in. Yes, that still happens too, but not as much.
I changed my oil to full (motorcraft)...
I do the same thing you do when buying a car. Which is why I hate buying a car. It's a 2nd job. I plan on keeping my 2014 Mustang GT Premium/Brembo/Blah Blah Loaded for a very long time.
I despise the car buying experience because it REALLY is a second job if you want the best deal. And yeah...
The incoming Focus RS is AWD. Something Ford said they would never do at one time but because they could never fully eliminate the torque steer on the old RS's and even the ST's, they've changed their mind. Be satisfied with that. Personally, I'm not a fan of AWD cars. They tend to understeer...
No offense, but I honestly don't want to see a leather clad dashboard. I'd rather have soft plastics. They last longer.
Real leather goes down the tubes after a few years. Vinyl/Leather Trim is not just cost saving, but it also wears better.
And I like the plastic door / drink cover on...
It could be a vent not opening. In my 2009 Focus there were vents for the back-seat passengers that ran under the seats - They were tied with the footwell vents. They may have something similar for the peltier element to help keep it cool, if the solenoid is not opening the vent, that could...
The sensors work well, mine do anyways. If I put my work bag in the passenger seat (as I always do) the sensor lights up to show the passenger airbags are turned off. In the '14 you get a 5 star crash rating in the front I believe, so I'd rather have my daughter there than in the back, but...
unfortunately tester cars are often configured differently. so you can't really rely on the 164 cut off unless it's been tested by an individual who just bought a car off the lot.
Manufacturers do a lot of things to their test fleets to make for better reviews.
Peltier devices can accumulate condensate. Run the A/C to dehumidify the air. Everyone knows that running the A/C dehumidifies the air whether it is set on cold or hot, right? Recirc or MAX A/C helps with this so the A/C doesn't have to fight with the humidity outside the cabin as well. If...
If it is a peltier element, dust accumulation would kill the impact of the cooling. Also, Peltier devices can only exchange so much heat for cold, if they become heat-soaked on one side, they stop working on the other (cooling) side.
As another poster mentioned, running your A/C toward your...
25% as soon as you drive it off the lot, that's what you lose.
Since you put 6k down, you might squeak out of there just losing that or a little less. Depends on how generous they are feeling, but they know you want it, and they know you want it bad, so the dealer already has the upper hand.
