Hi Phil,
Thanks for your response. A few answers to your questions/comments:
1. Right from day one I decided I would concentrate on getting the Mustang to handle and grip to my satisfaction and leave the engine mods until later although, interestingly, what you're doing is exactly where I...
Hi there,
I'm afraid I don't have any tech. info. about my coilovers, sorry. I know City Performance Centre said they used the standard setting recommended by ST Coilovers from the factory. Since then, I've had my suspension raised slightly and stiffened at the front because my G-Trac underbody...
For the first time, I selected āTrack Modeā and left it there! Traction Control? Who needs it? Certainly not me, with my helmet on and a flag marshal ready to give me the āgoā signalā¦
I had always intended to use my Mustang GT on the track occasionally, just to be able to really wind it out...
Images of my car
Thanks, I like it. I wanted a low-key car. I have no problem with more over the top cars, they're just for not me.
That's what great about Mustangs - they can be whatever you want them to be.
Damn! re. images on this Facebook page - I should have mentioned my Mustang is Guard with silver HRE FF 01 wheels (not the yellow/black car) - they were posted a few months back:

Update on my experiences
Hi mate,
I have posted a message about this elsewhere on this thread but since you asked about pics of my car, I think it's best to direct you to this site:

These guys modified my car and posted images before...
Funny this one - I thought the handbrake placement the other side of the cupholders would be a problem. In fact, I find it a natural reach, much more so than if its was the 'my' side - that would be too close. The hill-holder comes in handy too. So, no complaints from me.
The only issue I have...
Very interesting:
I've had mine 5 months and my first impressions mirror your list of challenges. The size can be a pain around town - that rising bonnet/hood(!) line makes it feel bigger than it is. I love it overall but I'd add a few minus points: Brakes feel over-assisted, pedal positioning...
Hi guys,
SC_Ruby (hi Dennis) is running the KW V3 coil overs and I know he's happy with them. I was going that route, but now I've decided on ST XTA coil overs (made by KW) -cheaper and made from galvanised steel, not S/S. No problem in sunny Sydney. I have been taken for a ride on some pretty...
I'm thinking of fitting KW V3 coil - overs, has anyone fitted these yet?
My Mustang GT will be my DD (when it arrives in Sydney) and I intend to use it on the track at the weekend.
I know there are plenty of alternatives, but my local tuning specialist recommends these highly.
I want to improve the handling balance and grip for track days, without screwing up the ride for my daily commute. I'm waiting to read more forum opinions, but I think a set of coilovers might be the best way to go. Maybe an airbox, dyno tune, Ford Racing Touring exhaust, strut tower and K...
Well, It might not seem logical, but a Mustang GT (Guard/manual) will become the daily driver replacement for our 2011 Abarth Fiat Essesse. I also have a 1993 Porsche 911 Carrera 2 coupe that is used at weekends mainly. It's becoming increasingly valuable, so the Mustang might serve as an...
