Update. Dealer just called and says the car is at the railhead 50 miles from here and will be trucked over this weekend even though my latest EDD got moved back to 10 days out last night! Huh? So....is it true? Who the hell knows!? Unbelievable...

Yup - reality here. My EDD just got moved back four days last night. Apparently it takes almost a month to ship a car from Detroit to So. Cal - go figure. I guess my MY EDD has ED!:D

Same here. Went from April 5 to April 2. You wonder if these are real dates or something computer generated. My dealer called and said my car was in Illinois somewhere. I think I will avoid rail car tracking - don't need any more frustration.

Congratulations. Appreciate the details on any build quality issues. Not sure I'm seeing any patterns yet on the hold cars except maybe the window.

Bam! The good news... now "In Transit", the bad news... the new EDD is ten days after my "other" new EDD. Looking at another two and half weeks. Ford must be using Conestoga wagons to get to Cali-forn-ia... Stay positive, stay positive...

Looks like a mixed bag on the exterior build quality from folks on this board taking delivery. Maybe we'll be on the same train - let's hope.

Released but cannot escape the lethal grip of Awaiting Shipment - damn! No word from my dealer in weeks - lame.

Got an EDD - March 25! Still awaiting shipment though - hallelujah! I think things are actually happening in the frozen tundra of Flat Rock. Don't give up - there is hope after all.

Congrats to all the "In Transits". I am now back to Awaiting Shipment but still have no EDD whatsoever. So this is good news? Maybe I exist - maybe not. That heat shield must be one pesky SOB.

Jumping into the the fray. This forum has been excellent - thought I may as well contribute. As a member of the 4000 my dealer can only tell me "I see what you see" i.e. COTUS. His calls up the chain came back with a "bad part" hold with no release or delivery dates. He has little sympathy...
