  1. What Headers did you pick....

My Pypes went in fine. They were touching at first, but that was because I was a noob who had the engine jacked up a mile high during the install. :D
  2. Drive modes - Base vs. Premium

I actually use wet mode while driving in heavy city traffic. I call it commute mode lol
  3. Evenflo 160 / Reische 170 thernostat

On a Lund tune here. I swapped from the evenflo 160 to the resich 170 and actually saw a 10 degree drop across the board.
  4. Running e85 on stock car

Fill it the rest of the way up with regular gas and drive off the E85. Keep filling it up to dilute the rest if you'd prefer.
  5. What to use to clean Steeda intake?

Definitely go with the Steeda or K&N. I bought a generic set from Summit racing and while it works, I get more oil on my hands than the filter with the cheap spray bottle they use.

  10. Headers Installed... But No Joy

Yep. Swapped out my X-pipe for the resonator this past weekend. Car feels faster as i was reluctant to give it gas due to the overwheliming exhaust sound after I installed catless headers. Much more enjoyable to drive now.
  11. X-pipe too extreme for DD

I loved my Borla S-Type catback system with the included X-pipe. Then I installed catless longtube headers. Wow! I love the tone at low RPMs, but it sounds like a tin can stampede in the cabin when I even mildly accelerate. Been about 8 months of daily driving and I just finally decided to...
  12. Any special tips or tricks for header install?

Ratcheting swivel wrench. I bought them from Harbor Freight and they worked great. If you're not re-using the original header bolts, screw the new ones in by themselves first. Disconnect the sensor at the top, middle, rear of the engine. I cracked mine and had to order another one. I have a...
  13. Lund Flex Tune Car Lost Power! Is This For Real?

A year apart? There are so many variables in play that it's not possible to scientifically juxtapose the two pulls. From weather, to the engine, to the dyno itself (calibration, weather station, etc.) That's why it's always recommended to do the pulls as close together as possible. Def wait...
  14. Ngage vs handheld sct

You don't need to leave the ngauge plugged in. Works just like the SCT in that regard.
  15. Ngage vs handheld sct

You don't have to mount the nguage to the windshield. It's just that the size, shape, and display capabilities make it ideal for mounting. I had mine plugged in and mounted, but eventually took it off as I found myself getting distracted by the monitors. Ngauge means you're locked to Lund's...
  16. Lund A6 modes?

Most of my commute is in the city. I prefer driving in snow mode during rush hour.
  17. lund tune w/o mods worth it?

If I was allowed to perform only one thing in regards to modifying my Mustang, it would be the tune. Definitely worth it.
  18. Help Needed-Header Install

Yep I remember that bastard of a bolt. Click. Click. Sometimes you'll get lucky and get a click-click.
  19. Problems with Steeda Tune

Aye, go Lund and be done with it.
