That combo looks incredible. I feel this is my all time favorite combo. I think it looks just as good as a R model.
The way the ruby red matches the brake lights tint, and the black trim all around. :amen:
These particular vehicles had either the Bar codes on the rear quarter panel. Or, the "Enhance your driving experience" Bar code. Which usually resembles a actual rental-fleet vehicle.
Was this a pre-production vehicle? Usually their's a warning with prototype vehicles on display, or in pictures, warning that actual production may vary.
Some of you may or may not know who Matt Farah is, but, he is a Auto Journalist who recently got the keys to a GT350R at Thunderhill Raceway and talked about his experience with the car in his latest Podcast. You can listen to it here...
Wait....I though they already made this car!!! It's called the CTS-V, Correct?
- Alpha Platform (CTS-V, ZL1)
- LT4 (CTS-V, ZL1)
I understand they're called General Motors. But make the ZL1 have something exclusive to differentiate from the CTS-V, and Z06. I understand from a investment...
I've only seen two 2016 Camaro's to this date since they've been on lots. But, to be honest...if it weren't for fleet sales, these vehicles wouldn't be able to survive. In San Diego, 2/3's of Camaro's I see are fleet; About half the mustangs are fleet; And Challenger's are about half as-well...
- Panel gaps and misalignment is gone pretty much. Flat Rock Assembly Plant (FRAP) has built over 100,000 new S550s so that's plenty of time for them to fix their issues. Yes, some early built 2015s had panel gaps; If there are any, Ford should warranty it. It's up to you to look for those gaps...
The sole reason the GT350/R didn't make it in this years MTCOTY was it was ready in time. R&T's PCOTY is hosted later in the year whereas Motortrend is later in the year. A moderator said this in the comments.
That doesn't mean we wont see it next year :)
You are right, San Diego is FLOODED with rental S550s. V6's, EB, even base rental GTs. That's honestly why I feel owning a Shelby would be more exclusive and unique. I think this honestly boils down to a personal preference as to what i'll be doing with the car.
Thank you guys for your...
This isn't exactly a versus competition thread, but a thread that highlights two cars at very similar price ranges. I currently drive a 2008 Ford Mustang V6 4.0L pony package, it is fully loaded. The car is still perfect for me, no rattles, no engine problems, nothing has broke off yet. I plan...
I read and article on Car & Driver earlier this morning, and it had photos of the nickel luster on I believe a Guard Mustang. Here is the Article; Page 3 has the best picture of them.

I live in San Diego and can pretty much verify that more than half the 2015 models I see are Ecoboost models. 3/4s of those cars are base rentals though. Since they first started delivering the 2015s, I've seen maybe 10 owned 2015s, and the rest being rentals. You can tell a rental by its...
YEP!:) Being a mile from the Pacific Ocean, I am prone to sea salt errosion. On top of the many trees (especially this season) leaving pollen and dust. Plus my paint is not good quality from the previous
owner. Sure...I may only drive her 200 miles a month, but those 200 miles, I NEED to...
