  1. Illinois 2018-2019 GT Intake Manifold, Fuel Rail, & Throttle Body

If it's still available, I'll take it.
  2. All NEW: OPT7 S550 Full LED DRL/Turn Signal with Sequential and Switchback.

Not at all. I actually only did it twice. The original lights worked, but only when the lights were either actually on. When they were off during the day, the amber sequential lights did not work. I had to drive around with my lights in park until I got my new set. When I installed mine, I...
  3. All NEW: OPT7 S550 Full LED DRL/Turn Signal with Sequential and Switchback.

So, to be fair, I bought these in 2017 when they first came out. The look, amazing. The problem I had with my 2015 is the first and second batch had issues. Yes, the customer service wasn't great. I had to fight with them over 4 months to get a competent replacement. However, they did finally...
  4. 2015-17 Mustang GT Ford Performance Power Packs

You're right, the Ford racing parts are still considered aftermarket, but they will not void your warranty if installed by a certified installer. The powertrain warranty is actually 5/60, so you don't have to worry about a 3/36. I just bought an extended warranty through ford about 300 miles...
  5. 2015-17 Mustang GT Ford Performance Power Packs

Don't worry. I own a '15 PP, got the tune put on by Ford. As long as it is an ASE certified mechanic and you have the paperwork, it will NOT void your warranty. I did, however, go back and get am extended warranty. What I found out is that we have a 5/60k on the powertrain. I wish I'd known that...
  6. Car and Driver 2018 Mustang GT instrument test

My question is: How did Ford imagine this dream where the new Mustang GT is faster in a straight line than a 911, but slower than a Camaro? Who is really telling the truth here? Don't get me wrong, I like C&D, but I will admit they are sometimes biased.
  7. 2015-17 Mustang GT Ford Performance Power Packs

Yes!! The quick answer is: Yes, your warranty will stay in tact provided you have it installed by an ASE certified mechanic. It doesn't have to be a Ford dealership, but my preference is to use the dealership as much as I can. Now, the longer answer, as long as the dealer cannot...
  8. 2015-17 Mustang GT Ford Performance Power Packs

The PP1 and PP2 don't look much different when you are looking at peak numbers, but look at the curves. That's why I went with PP2, because although you only get +21hp peak, it solves a 40hp deficit midrange which makes the car scream. You won't see that with the PP1. The catch with the PP2...
  9. Trade Rims Orlando Area

I have the PP rims with Michellin PSS's that are a year old, with about 15k miles on them. They still look pretty new, but what price are you trying to let your rims go for? Those Michellin's aren't cheap, and PP rims don't have curb rash on them. I'm the original owner.
  10. All NEW: OPT7 S550 Full LED DRL/Turn Signal with Sequential and Switchback.

Try E-mailing support@OPT7. I had an issue with my original set, and e-mailed them over the course of 3 months and eventually the issue got resolved. It really is a good product once I got the working set.
  11. All NEW: OPT7 S550 Full LED DRL/Turn Signal with Sequential and Switchback.

I believe it is in the wiring. I noticed when I installed the first set that the box on the back of them gets extremely hot quickly. I have been driving, turned the lights on and back off, and they worked fine. They need more testing, but they really do look amazing.
  12. All NEW: OPT7 S550 Full LED DRL/Turn Signal with Sequential and Switchback.

I had exactly the same thing happen. I changed mine on a Thursday and then went to reserve duty the next day to find out they didn't work. Fortunately my mirror lights still flashed appropriately, but that could've presented a problem. I spoke with 2 people from Opt7 and was happy at first...
  13. 2015-17 Mustang GT Ford Performance Power Packs

I don't know if the question has been asked or not, but the Roush stage 2 promises more hp and tq, but for more money. At least what Roush promises is to the wheels. What I haven't seen is whether the Ford Stage 2 is at the crank or to the wheels. I have, however, found a volume dealer that...
  14. Mis-shift to N

You've probably experienced what I have which is the high RPM gear lockout. It's annoying.
  15. ol' Goss says get the oil separator

Not gonna lie, I just installed my JLT catch can and I'm impressed. At first, the oil pressure hovered around 80psi which worried me in 5th at about 2000rpm, but as the engine warmed up and I drove it a little on the highway, I notice a marked difference. Before the can, I would get hesitation...
  16. SOLD Ford Racing (By Borla) Touring Cat-Back Exhaust - Chrome Tips SOLD

Interested. Let me count my beans....
  17. New Niche wheels

Misano's on a Black Stang I was absolutely SOLD on the Targas as I've seen them on other color cars, but on my black one, I wasn't quite sure. They look great on the red, and not bad on a yellow, but the machined face on black isn't quite the look I was going for. I found this pic of the...
  18. Driving techniques

As the owner of a recently sold '14 base 6sp, I can tell you it broke loose too. I know it was my fault as I was dumping 390 lb/ft to the wheels with a smile. With my S550, I have noticed with all of that wheel hop, it just cannot make use of that torque. Your best bet is one of two ways: the...
  19. Something I just noticed on Mustangs and no other Ford vehicles

For a few years, Ford had pawned their logo in order to not take a bailout. So, you would not see it on Ford cars. I believe they just paid off the debt last year or the year before. Genius if you think about it.
  20. build date 2/2 , shows in transit no EDD

You're the best! Don't let my impatience say otherwise, we all know how awesome this car is and no one can wait. That just speaks volumes to the direction of Ford. Thank you for the response and your excellent customer service. :ford:
