Scenario from this past weekend...long post and not GT500 related for those that don't want to read on:
Took the wife car shopping (secretly I really wanted to test drive one of these Rubicon 392s). She has a '22 Bronco Outter Banks on order, but delays are starting to ramp up. Walked onto the...
Just went out and checked mine. There is a very small gap on the right hand side (smaller than the OP's), the left side is completely flush. My wing has not been off that I know of.
I picked mine up at MSRP this past weekend; recaros, painted stripe, tech package. The dealer at one point had a 25k ADM, and then dropped to 15K. I was in ordering a Bronco for my S.O. and took the Shelby for a spin, but declined to speak further if an ADM was attached to the car.
Now, I...
Doesn't really work that way with this system, as the quad tips are already mounted to the valance. The kit specific mufflers are designed to fit into the tips on the FRPP valance. You could probably use other axlebacks, but you would need to remove their tips in favor of welding on a set that...
I have run both setups on my Sport setup. I'm currently back to the x-pipe, but will go back to the resonator once cat-deletes or headers go on. With the resonator installed, the sound was just a bit too quiet for me.
X-pipe:
Resonator:
Not exactly a diagram, but here is what I did (I capped the vacuum port on the bottom of my CAI, and this is the 90mm TB, but should be the same as stock in all other respects). These were taken at night, so sorry for the image quality.
Just completed my install, without headers. No dyno results yet, so this doesn't really help, but planning on getting on the rollers in the next week or so before I install the cat deletes.
Here is the link to the part on the Borla site:

I googled and found it a bit cheaper from some other site, but I can't remember from where.
No modifications to install. Just slips on right in place of the x-pipe that...
Nice...good to know!
I would imagine that E85 would be a no-go on that combo. I'm running it (corn) now N/A, and had picked up the 47's as I wanted the GT350 IM and E85.
But out of curiosity, could the 47's support E85 on the HO system with a BAP?
While I'm not new to FI, I am new to FI on the S550 platform. My ride is a '15 GT 'vert 3.15 auto, so I'm zeroing in on one of the centri systems in order to at least keep what existing chassis bracing the car has (STB, K brace). Also, not targeting obscene whp numbers, since I really am not...
Here are a couple of vids. First vid is the Sport catback with x-pipe, vid 2 is with the Borla resonator installed: <sorry about the links...having issues getting the vid embedded>
Vid1
Vid2
I swapped out the resonator and went back to the x-pipe (just for grins and to see how difficult it...
I installed the Sport version, and then added the Borla resonator that comes in the EC package. I'll try and get a vid up shortly. However, the sound difference between without and then with the resonator was huge.
I can't specifically answer your question, but I went with the Sport version of the GT350 exhaust catback, and given that I drive a 'vert, I had to remove the x-pipe install the Borla resonator. The sound difference with and without the resonator is HUGE.
If you go axle back, you'll still have...
