I'm very interested! I see you're in San Fernando, does that mean San Fernando Valley in SoCal by chance? If so, I'm very close by in southern Ventura County.
I'm assuming you're wanting to put those 305s on the stock rear PP wheels? IMO 305s would be too big for a 9.5" wheel. You could get away with 285s on a 9.5" wheel but I wouldn't push it any more than that. If you want a fatter tire, you're going to need a wider wheel.
I may be interested. Looking to get new wheels and was considering these exact tires. Question, though: What lowering kit did you install that caused them to rub? My car is lowered and I did some calculation/comparison with my current set-up and determined that they shouldn't rub with my set-up...
I had the FRPP Sport Catback which I thought sounded pretty good. Once I added cat deletes though, it was just way, WAY too loud and raspy. It was obnoxiously loud and sounded ridiculous in my opinion. Unwilling to reinstall the cats, I opted to swap my X-Pipe out for a Borla resonator similar...
Are these still available? I'm interested. I currently have the FRPP/Borla Sport catback with MAK cat delete pipes. Although, I added the Borla resonator when I installed the cat delete pipes because it was just way, way too loud with the X pipe once I removed the cats. Adding the resonator...
Jesus! 4 tickets in 6 months?! That's insane. Did they all pull you over for the noise or was it something else that initially caught their attention? Do you have cat deletes or headers as well? A catback system (with an X or an H pipe) with the stock headers really isn't that loud. It certainly...
I was actually looking at purchasing those! Do you have the ones for the 5.0 on the right and left front fender as well or only the GT on the rear?
I've seen this done a few times but the people who had it had to make their own out of vinyl sheets. This would be much easier since it's already...
I appreciate the responses! The subs I've been considering are the Rockford P3SD2-8 like the OP used and the Kicker RT 8" (http://www.kicker.com/comp-rt-8-2-ohm-subwoofer). If I remember correctly, I recall reading that the stock enclosure is just under one half cubic feet. Does that sound...
So, if I have the 401a package with the stock sub and amp, could I essentially get the upgraded sub and use it to replace the stock one? Do you think there'd be much benefit to doing that?
I have a GTPP with the 401a package (Shaker Pro w/ sub in trunk) and I'd really like to upgrade the subwoofer. I'd prefer not to get into changing amps and all that so a drop-in that uses the stock amp and enclosure is perfect. I was going to go with the RF P3SD2-8 as recommended by the OP but...
I actually just ordered the Z26 pads for my GTPP. They should arrive in the next couple days. I've heard good things about them and they're very reasonably priced. Actually, they're SO reasonably priced that I won't mind replacing them if I don't end up liking them. That's actually the entire...
I live in CA where all tint on the front windows is illegal, if I remember correctly. On my last 3 vehicles (including my 2015 GTPP), over the last 10 years, I've always opted for 5% "Limo" ceramic tint all the way around with a sun strip. In those 10 years I've only ever been pulled over 1 time...
The maximum power and/or dyno numbers may not have changed much, if at all, but I can absolutely promise you it performed much better during real-world driving. When I installed the cat deletes (before I added the resonator) the car was noticeably sluggish, especially at lower RPM. So much so...
I definitely noticed a big loss in low-end torque due to decreased back pressure when I installed my MAK cat deletes with my FRPP Sport Catback with X-Pipe. When I first drove the car after installing the cat deletes I honestly thought something was wrong with the car. It felt super...
I realize that all short throw shifters cause additional stress to the transmission. I was speaking more to the additional stress of the X-Spec specifically over the Race Spec shifter. As I mentioned, all short throws add stress but apparently the X-Spec adds slightly more stress than the Race...
