Since you smell the odor when you open the garage, I am going to go way out and suggest you check the top. The S550 has a 3 layer top, if the outer layer has a small cut or seam that is allowing water in, the water may be accumulating between the top layer (outside) and middle layer, but, not...
Could have been a batch of bad fuel. I had a similar problem with a Firebird, when new, turned out to be garbage from the service station fuel tank. Since then I never fill up if I see a tanker pumping at the station.
I would recommend Continental Full Winter Contact tires. I have used them for the past 6 years. They have an aggressive, but quiet tread pattern which works well in snow and icy conditions. I also recommend you leave all the "nanny" systems operational and toggle to snow mode when in snowy...
OP: Before you do the lawyer thing, contact your local Better Business Bureau(BBB), and file a complaint against the dealer and the body shop. Then, go the BBB, in Dearborn, and file a complaint against Ford for voiding your warranty, and failing to fix the car under warranty to your...
See my thread, link below, posted earlier about two plastic parts in the trunk. This may be your problem, especially with the top flopping in the wind with the windows down. Still no answer on whether they should be screwed in. Hope this helps. See photos in #1 and then #5...
I love the "On back Order", how can something this new be on back order? Are they having that many problems with it (most likely not) or, are they just not sending it out so they can move product on the line. This has always been my fear with new technology and the rush to get it out their. The...
My advise, and it has worked in the past with another company, go to the BBB in Dearborn. File your complaint with them. The complaint goes to corporate and they are not happy about receiving BBB complaints. My problem was solved within two weeks of filing at the BBB in the corporate...
Just my .02. A few years ago we had a leased Jeep. I was at the dealers and they asked if I would like a new one, prior to my lease expiring. They took the leased Jeep on a trade, paid my last payment (they basically assumed my lease) and sold me the new one. No one else was involved since they...
After exhausting all the other suggestions, if you still have the noise, check the upper rear shock bolt. It may not have been torqued correctly and the RR tracks were the bump it needed to loosen it just enough to allow the shock to move.
Drop the 3.5L Twin Turbo from the Taurus into it, and bump HP to 400. GT/ 5.0 is moving way out of this field now, so it should not be considered a competitor of the GT. I always thought Ford screwed up not using the 3.5, I loved that engine in my SHO.
Ford will announce the "New" GT500 will be built on the Fiesta chassis to compete with the other 500, made by Fiat. No striping packages will be available to save weight. After all, cars are just like cubicles, only with wheels.
Reference your splash guards. I have been using Jaeger Brothers for many years, without a problem. Easy on, easy off for washing and waxing. No screws. I moved them from my '15 to the '17 at the dealers, in less then 5 minutes. Here is link to their site...
Not sure if this is of interest, but here is the NHTSA site to check your VIN to see if it is involved in the recall.

Thanks. I would appreciate the feed back. I really do not want to take her out in the weather, to much salt on the roads. If it is simply screws missing. I can handle that.
I took my 2015 Eco early build (Oct '14) purchased in Nov '14, in for an oil/filter change and the door spring recall, in Sep. The salesman gave us a 2017 Magnetic convertible to drive for the Morning. We put the top down and drove into the Black Hills. Returned to the dealer, later in the day...
