  1. Most forgiving SC car

Redeye wide body on nitto NT555R's will be very comfortable, fast and forgiving. I may replace my current Hellcat in 2022 with a 2020+ GT500 but will easily go with the Redeye if the Shelby pricing is still ridiculous. Hellcat has trouble putting stock power down on factory tires but is very...
  2. My BMW 545i feels faster than 2019 Mustang GT

To me modding a car and voiding warranty you need to be all in with it. You should love the car and want to have for many years, imo. Power and speed is never enough for many and can be a slippery slope money pit. Power and racing break things, reduce longevity and car value, period. 8 year...
  3. My BMW 545i feels faster than 2019 Mustang GT

Ive been on various mustang forums since 2010 and other various car forums before that and that's news to me... Would love to see some polls on the subject. Just because someone finances doesn't automatically mean they can't actually afford it as everyone's situation is different.
  4. My BMW 545i feels faster than 2019 Mustang GT

I bet the majority of stang owners on these forums owe money on their car and did not pay 100% cash...
  5. 2015 Mustang GT vs. 2019 Challenger Red Eye Hellcat

You're better off going from a dig or slow roll but once he hooks you'll get freight-trained. Standard Hellcat will gap you as well but can't hook from a dig or roll under 60 on stock all-season tires. The Redeye will be faster as it hooks better and traps a good 6-7 mph more than the Hellcat...
  6. 2015 Mustang GT Versus 2014 Mustang GT Comparison

I do not currently own a mustang but looking back, I greatly regret trading my 2014 GT in for the 2015 GT. The 2015 definitely did not live up to the hype imo.
  7. Mustang GT vs ... (Post whatever you've raced and how it went)

I'm sure they are... the C8 is looking to be a game changer. If you can get that brand new HC on the road for under 60k that'd be a great deal. You thinking about putting along side your stang or trading?
  8. Still love it

Probably because you have a 2019 GT. Pre 2018 GT's got "boring" fast stock without mods imo.. True, especially boosted and in the winter on cold roads/air, spinning in 4th gear at 100mph can get interesting:whew::crazy:
  9. Mustang GT vs ... (Post whatever you've raced and how it went)

For the auto? Well if so, if you can get an auto Hellcat for in the 50's OTD that's an amazing bargain! Be sure to of course add in tax/freight/tags and which rebates you're actually eligible..."deals" can have a way of quickly not becoming much of a deal. I still feel I got a great deal as...
  10. Mustang GT vs ... (Post whatever you've raced and how it went)

Yeah Dodge is running a $7170 cash back special currently. It'll still probably be closer to 65k OTD for an A8(M6 cheaper less desirable) and they no longer come standard with leather, still not bad though! The Hellcat is holding it's value pretty well if you didn't buy brand new as they are...
  11. Mustang GT vs ... (Post whatever you've raced and how it went)

I bought my 2017 Hellcat last year slight used with 3000 miles, in like-new condition with a certified 7 year warranty for $50K. It's super comfortable with power at any throttle position/rpm/gear along with an intoxicating sound that never gets old. The power delivery is super satisfying and...
  12. Should I sell my Mustang and get a C7 Corvette ?

Rent a C7 Vette for a couple days and see if it's for you.
  13. Doesn't feel like 460hp...?

Its a mustang thing, the high revving v8 power delivery feels soft but they do run good with crazy potential.
  14. Ford will offer a third engine (more powerful 2.3L EcoBoost) to 2020 Mustang lineup

Maybe a hybrid version but otherwise, fake news.
  15. 2018 Mustang GT Auto vs 2015 Porsche Panamera Turbo (both stock)

Gotta love hearsay... Anything is possible on the street as there are many potential factors but the Panamera should still be quicker from a roll, at least on paper... Here's some magazine racing: https://www.caranddriver.com/porsche/panamera-turbo-turbo-s You still own 2 scatpacks (per your...
  16. Mustang vs 2020 Supra

I agree!! Looks aside, I'd suspect the Supra will be the more fun car to drive compared to the standard stang gt to the enthusiast(which is of course subjective, as is looks). I also agree it needs more power to compete in today's market. So far it seems like a glorified BRZ/FRS with BMW...
  17. Test drove a Hellcat again today.

Definitely possible... I'm sure most of you know AS WITH ANY CAR whether it be 0-60, 1/4 mile times, dyno numbers.. there will be a range of results, depending on conditions. Look around enough and you'll see in decent air/lower elev, track prep, driver mod, the stock A8 Hellcat is well...
  18. Uh Oh. Here comes the EV Challenger

I don't know about a 100000 miles range guarantee but all EV's seem to come with an 8 year 100000 mile battery warranty.
  19. Test drove a Hellcat again today.

Manual a poor choice for Hellcat's if drag racing the priority... While I'm sure you hurt a lot of feelings with your "superior" driver mod/drag set-up...faster cars lose to slower cars all the time at the track. Many people read posts like yours above(think their bolt-on gt is capable of...
  20. Test drove a Hellcat again today.

Who's saying the hellcat is a mustang destroyer? :inspect: I'm saying a pre-owened Hellcat is also a great bang for the buck like the mustang gt as both respond well to mods reliably. 10.80's stock on drag radials is far from hype. I like your avatar though, great movie
