Hey guys,
One of the very few complaints I have about my '16 GT Convertible is how damn dark the trunk is. It's almost impossible to see what's in there, especially if you have anything on the left side that blocks that tiny little light. I was wondering if you guys have found any...
So I just recently swapped my '15 EB for a '16 GT Vert. Since I bought it used from a non-ford dealer, they knew almost nothing about it. All they knew is that the previous owner took his after-market wheels and put the brand new stock wheels back on. They felt confident he hadn't done...
Not an insult. I've been hoping this is just me being dumb. If that's all it is, i'll be pleased.
I did try twisting it around in there some, but any time i put it in the loop the seat belt will no longer extend. I guess I'll try again. Got a picture of how you have it situated that I...
Thanks. Have you had someone throw soda in your car before? Or is that just a nightmare scenario? :)
I'll snap a pic of the trunk this weekend.
Maybe i'm just sitting up too high or too far back? I mean it sits comically low on my arm and I just don't understand the belt loop is even...
No, I don't recall signing anything like that. Certainly nothing where I listed mods or checked a box saying it didn't have mods, unless it was buried deep within the main contract.
Hey guys, I just joined the club. Moved to a '16 Convertible GT. Loving it so far, but I do have a few questions. I'm not sure if some of these things are specific to the convertible or the 2016 model year. I searched around a bit, but didn't find any answers to these questions:
Seat...
Follow-up question:
I traded the car in and did not remove the tune (being honest, i'm not sure I could as my Ford dealer installed it, I didn't do it myself). The dealer I traded the EB to never asked me if i had done any modifications or anything. But I was thinking today about the premium...
Thanks. Will they try to give me less if I leave it? Id rather not mess with it if at all possible. But I also don't want them to say "oh, we can't sell it like that, blah blah blah."
I searched around a bit and didn't see this addressed. I have a 2015 with this tune installed. When I want to sell this car (particularly, if i'm trading into a dealer), do I need to consider uninstalling the tune? Will they see it as an upgrade or should i just not even mention it?
For anyone who's curious out there, I find this aspect of the tune pretty annoying. To me it's very noticeable. My wife thinks i'm crazy, but I had a Ford tech sit in the car with me and he could hear it. Says it's normal, but it bothers me.
So...if i had mine installed at a dealer, should i expect the dealer to do the update to the new tune at no cost?
I just realized that they never gave me the calibration unit (or whatever) after they did my install. That's supposed to be mine to keep, right? I assumed it was in the trunk...
Does it get rid of the annoying thud/vacuum noise the stock BOV makes since the GT350 CAI was installed? I hate that noise and would love to get rid of it.
I'll throw in my 2 cents for what it's worth.
First, if it's the sound and rumble of the GT that interests you, then no matter what you do to the EB you won't be happy. If it's a daily driver and you want to have some fun, you might be happy with an EB Premium. I have one with the Ford...
