Finally got my engine back from RPG! It’s a 5.2 with Oliver I beams and Manley pistons @12.1 CR. Kept my intake cams as well.
Likely goes back in this weekend and then I’ll be just waiting on my bc3 trans to get here.
So I’ve contacted ATI , vmp and more but nobody seems to know if part number 918053 is what I need for my gen2r. Does anybody here know? I’d hate to order the wrong one and be stuck with it.
I'm in need of some tires for my car that currently has 688whp.
I have the MRR 350 wheels in 19x10- 19x11. I would like to use a 305 width in the rear and 285 in the front. Unfortunately there are only a few tires made in that 305 size and one being the MPSS. Are the MPSS worth the 320$...
As title says I finally got my dyno tune for my Gen 2-R with 82mm. Mods are vmp Twin67, L&M intake cams, ARH 1-7/8 catless and a JLT intake on 93 pump gas. Dyno I used is very consistent and the same I’ve used the whole time I’ve owned my car. Last setup was ported Cj with the cams and same...
Has anybody installed the whipple heat exchanger pump on the vmp triple pass kit? I am wondering about the mounting of the pump as it looks a little different than the Bosch pump.
Has anybody had issues fitting the Roush intake tube to the Vmp Gen 2R with the vmp twin 67? It’s very short and almost wrong angle. I had to stretch it to it’s max to fit. I can see it tearing soon.
So after reading over the vmp directions I’m lost. They leave out a lot of important info. I need to know how to mount the horns and how to mount hat Z bracket for the water pump?
Doing it how the directions say makes the pump just swing around due to the Z bracket only having one mounting...
So I'm having an emissions issue. I've got a fbo car with Lund o2 sensors turned one. 200miles on it so far and I've had it hooked up to the emission comp two times. Both times it says not able to communicate with my car. It doesn't say not ready only not able to communicate . My post is working...
Finally completed my project last week.
I started out with full catless ARH exhaust with a JLT intake and made 438/404 on 93. I ended up swapping to a ported Gt350 intake, This combo gave me 456/394 on 93. 458/390 on flex with some E85.
I decided I was going to do OPG and Ati damper so...
Just wanted to let people know the UPR hoses for the Ford Racing catch can do not fit the gt350 intake manifold even though UPR claims they do. You apparently need to cut the hoses to fit after spending 50+$ on them.
One image is of the can on my friends car with stock intake. The other is...
