I had a test drive of an auto GT the other day, and must admit it didn't inspire me. There were a few minor issues, but the power vs speed was not what I was expecting. Yes it did sound good on full throttle, but as a commuter felt pretty sedate. Had a chance to drive an ecoboost convertible...
Well been driving the Convertible Eco Boost Mustang for a week now. Other than typical California traffic, driving on the wrong side of the road, and the steering wheel being on the wrong side, I am quite enjoying it. I am very impressed with the Eco Boost engine. It pulls strongly, and suits...
Am currently in the US, and took my father on one last cruise holiday. Stopped by the Shelby Museum in Las Vegas. Well worth a look, and free to enter. It did cost me in t-shirts though.
Spent time in the Caribbean, Texas, and now California. Rental car in San Francisco is a convertible...
I don't have my Mustang yet, but have hit three Kangaroos in my cars. All about the size of a large German Shepard. Twice in a vehicle with a bull bar, so no damage, and once in my wife's BMW. Did some damage to the BMW. I drive to work at 5am, and home at after 7pm, and the number of Roo's...
6M Barton. Old thread, but worth a review.
Spent 6 years in the Navy. 1981 - 1986 Was a hospital corpsman serving with the Marines at Camp LeJune for 2 years, and then on board the USS America for the rest of my enlistment. Worked in hospitals for the next 25 years doing Cardiovascular...
Started with motor bikes first, but first car:
1966 Opel Kadet. Paid $40 for it in 1982
1985 Mazda B2000 pickup
1988 Alfa Romeo Spider Veloche (the only car I wish I still had)
1990 Acura (Honda) Integra
1966 VW Type III sedan with chopped roof to make into convertible. (1994)
1996 Saab Aero...
What a disaster! Feel bad for the driver, and hope he was not injured. I wonder if the dial 911 feature went off, and called emergency services, of if it was disabled.
Hope a new ride gets sorted soon.

I had a chance to sit in the LHD one that made it's way up the east coast of Australia. Yes the cup holders are right where the arm is for shifting, so only short drinks for me. The handbrake is not a big deal to reach. I am still interested in an aftermarket centre console that reverses the...
Looks great!! I had to laugh when I saw the cloth on the dining room table. I was told off by my wife when working on the table, and my reply was at least I put a cloth down.
Did you also spray the coolant tank? If so, is there a sight line where you can see the level?
Cheers,
Ken
Had the opportunity to view the Mustang last night at Trinity Ford in Cairns. Was a good event, with even some older mustangs on display. Had a chance to poke around in it, and left impressed. Good evening with lots of enthusiasts.
Impressions:
I was disappointed in not having Recaro's as...
I think that the Steeda progressive springs, and sway bar kit would be good to bring back. Don't know the weight of the springs, but sure to push baggage over the standard weight limit. Sways are bulky, and certainly won't fit in a bag. Maybe a separate box for both as extra baggage. Would...
I learned to drive whilst living in the Bahamas. Left side of the road, but 90% of the cars were left hand drive. Was ok until you had to pass someone. There was lots of leaning, and questioning passengers as to "is is clear"
Was sold on right hand drive when driving on the left.
Cheers,
Ken
I was going to say you don't want a Ruby Red car because I want to be exclusive. But the "Gong" is far enough away from me, so go ahead..:D:D
Cheers,
Ken
Much to my surprise, and relief, there was an email on my phone when I left work tonight: An invite to the mustang viewing.
Might have been in response to my email, which was worded nicely, whilst mentioning that I would appreciate some information. Finally I will at last see similar to...
