I used a program called Forscan (www.forscan.org) with an OBDLink MX (www.scantool.net).

I have data logs of the seat cooling before the fix. I'm supposed to have the TSB applied next week. I'll report back with some comparisons of before and after.

Out of curiousity, why are you replacing it?

I've been able to replicate the issue as low as 65 degrees ambient. Just make sure they run it long enough.

For those that are having problems with the dealers saying "working to spec", it takes about 15 minutes for them to get to ambient and about 20-25 minutes to start getting above ambient. If they aren't running the seats that long, they will appear to be working within spec. Obviously this...

I know that is what it appears from the pictures, I was curious if that was actually the case. I suspect it is also not getting sufficient airflow, in addition to everything else.

So does the fan blow air across both sides of the heat exchanger, or is the the heatsink purely passive?

Unfortunately, Ford is a business. If all behave the same, they are working as intended. That diagnosis will not change until someone is loud enough to the people that make the decisions. Accepting their answer when we feel otherwise is a disservice to us. If your feel your seats are not...

Forgive me, but I would like to see some solid proof. The seat bottoms have never been in question, but considering the number of people with the same problem and the architecture of the seat, I believe you are mistaken.

U.S. does not have a bulb. It is a circuit board with a high powered LED on it.

The stock U.S. fogs are a complete unit. They don't use a bulb type and the lighting LEDs are not changeable. In Canada, I believe they are halogen. I don't know what kind of bulb. I don't know about the rest of the world. Also of note, the stock light for U.S. has lense...
