Well, I finally made the jump from S197 V6 to S550 5.0. Got a new to me 2016 Base MT82 car with 33,000 on the clock. This is Mustang #3 for me, and my first V8. So far I love the car, but I'm already looking to do a few mods. Ultimately I'd like to be full bolt on with a lund flex fuel tune...
So, if any of you went from a second gen s197 (11-14), and I'm sure plenty of you did, to an S550, how did your insurance change? Up, down, or stay the same? Granted, I know all insurance is different, and it varies person to person, company to company, and location, but I figured I'd ask anyway...
Plates say "fstenuff" or something like that, you on the forum? Or does anyone here know him by chance? I've seen him around town, think we might live in the same neighborhood.

I've been looking into suspension and the FR handling pack caught my eye, just because I could probably have it installed at the dealer before I take delivery, but everything I've found on it says it doesn't fit the V6.

From what I understand, the lack of tuning is due to the fact that the car is speed density rather than MAF, correct? Why not just convert to MAF? Shouldn't be that hard with either a 11-14 system or even a 15 5.0 system... right? I mean sure, it would be a little costly, but worth it imo if...
