There are only 15-20 credible industry news sources reporting on the 4.8, so let's just wait and see.Without wishing to burst your bubble:
1 - The GT500 will NOT be at Detroit
2 - The 4.8 isn't happening
3 - Horsepowerkings just makes stuff up!
Seriously, there are good people on here giving good information. Read all the threads on the upcoming refresh and you'll soon learn who gives good information, and who just makes stuff up.
And only one of them had the decency to do some research (after the fact) ;)There are only 15-20 credible industry news sources reporting on the 4.8, so let's just wait and see.
Thank you. Don't know why people read that fake news site. Any links should just be banned because its trash.Without wishing to burst your bubble:

The problem with all these news outlets these days is that all it takes is one poorly researched story and everybody else runs with it, especially if it's likely to generate a lot of clicks. Only some of these magazines that actually research stuff bother to go back and correct their mistakes. The rest are already on to the next 10 clickbait stories. A new union agreement was just posted this week saying that the 5.0 will continue to get "significant technology improvements". Confirmation of the continuation of the 5.0 doesn't get any more sure than that.Yes. ONE of them posted an 'update' of total speculation.
I'm content to wait it out, personally... no real desire to be "right" on this lmao
Let's not lose sight of the fact that nothing you've stated says that Ford won't have a 4.8The problem with all these news outlets these days is that all it takes is one poorly researched story and everybody else runs with it, especially if it's likely to generate a lot of clicks. Sounds like you're really hoping for that 4.8...It's process of elimination. Why would they offer options for both a 4.8 and 5.0 in the same model? If the 5.0 is gonna be in the Mustang then that basically eliminates any hope of a smaller V8. Not to mention that union agreement made no mention of a 4.8 either.Let's not lose sight of the fact that nothing you've stated says that Ford won't have a 4.8
I mean how many V6es do they make? Pretty sure they could throw down another V8 too...
