  1. Nav unlocking in Sync 2 version 3.10

Hello, I am trying to unlock nav on a non-nav equipped MY2015 Euro version. Sync 2 is version 3.10. I have followed the standard procedure involving FORScan and the navi patch (the png wallpaper). The nav is unlocked but the SD card prepped with maps and sdcard.key is not recognized. Anyone...
  2. Modifying As-Built Data Guide

Sorry! I just remembered I have 3.10 version of Sync 2: as a matter of fact, the mod (Forscan + png) did not worked... nav appears to be unlocked but sd card is not seen :( Anyone knows if nav can be unlocked in Sync 2 v.3.10???
  3. Modifying As-Built Data Guide

Hello, I have a MY2015, no nav, with Sync 2 version 3.8. Do you think I may still activate navigation with the Forscan procedure? In the first page of this thread I read: - Enable Navigation on MyFord Touch System that didn't ship with navigation (NOTE: Ford has currently blocked this method...
  4. Warranty about to expire: what to check?

The 2-ys warranty of my EB is about to expire: do you have any suggestions about what to check in order to exploit it 'till its very end??? Thanks!
  5. EcoBoost dyno tested in Italy: very bad results! Fraud???

It is an MT. However, some of us (Italian customers) have been already contacted by Ford: they say the tests done by the magazine are not reliable and offered to "prove" that the car has the power it should have. Elsewhere, we found many saying that low dyno numbers are probably due to the stock...
  6. EcoBoost dyno tested in Italy: very bad results! Fraud???

Dear all, in the june issue of an Italian car magazine, called "Automobilismo", they tested a convertible EU EcoBoost. The results, in terms of power and acceleration, are not what expected: max power at the engine: 284,0 hp at 5.160 rpm at the wheels (III gear): 255,6 hp at 5.390 rpm max...
  7. bonnet alignment DIY fix

Fearing that closing the bonnet several times would have lowered it again, I have opted for another solution by adding three washers (which then I painted) under the pin of the bonnet. I did that in 5 minutes.
  8. 2015/2016 EU Mustang - Lightning stuff

Occasionally, the airbag light stays on, but they said it's a faulty dome light (Ford is waiting the new part since June...) and, anyway, that happened since months before the wrench light appeared. Here is the chronology of the events: - installed led DRL lights (no issue at all); - installed...
  9. 2015/2016 EU Mustang - Lightning stuff

Hi John, it's not the service light (unfortunately!): it's the "wrench of doom" and the message says "see manual". They serviced the car, reset the PCM, and, since they couldn't still turn it off, Ford agreed in changing the PCM (on warranty). Anyway, I want to be sure it's not a matter of led...
  10. 2015/2016 EU Mustang - Lightning stuff

Dear all, has anybody experienced any electronic faults after installing a led light? I have the orange wrench light on: it's probably a faulty PCM issue, but I want to exclude any possible other reasons (I'm too lazy to put the original lights back!) Thanks!
  11. Big electronic differences between MY2015 and MY2017?

Hey there, a tuner (in Italy) just said that there are big differences in the electonics between EcoBoost MY 2015 & 2017 (EU) versions. Futhermore, that EU 2015 version has 309 hp and 2017 has 317 hp. Anybody can confirm that? It seems strange to me...
  12. Power drop after sub+ampli installation (wrench light)

Thank you Wild! As a matter of fact, the guy installed a fader to the amp. I asked him to do so since I feared the bad humming that would have come from the ANC... that I later learnt to disable by unplugging the roof mic...!
  13. Power drop after sub+ampli installation (wrench light)

Dear all, following the installation of an amplifier for a subwoofer I now have the damn orange wrench light on (which Ford's techs were not able to turn off...) Diagnostic reported some sort of faulty electric communication between module (a power drain?). Has anyone with an EU model attempted...
  14. 2015/2016 EU Mustang - Lightning stuff

Not so easy, actually, but it can be done with the car on the ground. You'll have to: 1) turn the wheels 2) following the instruction of the manual to open an access to the back of the bulb 3) a little torch to light the socket (can be very helpful!) 4) to unplug the... plug 5) using pliers to...
