I would ask what you want to do with the car and mod accordingly. Modding a car for drag strip is a lot different than modding a car for track.
This is one of those form follows function situations.

Just as examples.
Bilstein, Koni and JRi are a bit trickier to find but they are available. One nice thing about Bilstein is if you send them in...
Personally, I would avoid this solution for anything performance related. I have an issue with companies who provide technical specifications like:
"Highest spring rate for dramatic improvement in handling and reduction of nosedive"
"Rebound adjustable for the ultimate in tunability"...
I am one of those who is not planning on modding much. This is mostly due to running in a stock autocross class. Current mods to the car are custom valved Koni Yellows with stock springs, ARP wheel studs and open end gorilla lug nuts (because the stock ones suck), and a spare set of PP wheels...
All kidding aside, being as I am not nearly rich enough to rock a crazy trailer
I have a tool bag that I got at some Toyota trail teams promotion years ago. Have a bunch of stuff in there for the track. It started with way more of some stuff than I needed and a lot less of other stuff. These...
This one is probably pretty decent too, but at the other end of the spectrum. On the good side, you don't need to worry about fitting it in the trunk :)
2016 GT PP here. 2 Full autocross seasons, regionals, and track days. 16k miles. Only thing I have done to it maintenance wise is normal fluid changes and tires. Had an annoying rattle from the glove box area for about 6 weeks...turned out to be a pen, go figure.
Another overlooked area for this type of thing is Las Vegas. Relatively low cost of living, decent talent pool and getting better all the time. Commercial real estate off the strip is reasonable. UNLV has a decent computer science program. On the big plus side, the airport here is excellent...
I would be insanely happy with just dampers, springs, and camber plates. Unstaggering to the smaller wheel width for rotation purposes would be nice too.
Yeah, I pretty much gave up trying to overthink it and just drive.
It seems to be working pretty well with the glaring exception of Jeff Wong royally kicking my ass. My only consolation is that he appears to have a non-discriminatory policy about it.
I have not swapped bars in mine. I would but I can't figure out which one would be beneficial to swap. With the damper setup and alignment I am running, everything is very balanced and the car doesn't seem to have any bad habits. Corner entry is great provided I do my part, mid corner is...
In stock class, not much. Brake pad wear from autocross is negligible, its not a road course. Tires, get an extra set of wheels and tires. I am able to get a full season locally, plus a couple regional events out of a set of tires. Last year that was 16 events with an average of 8 runs per...
