  1. National Mustang Day

Great article for the Mustang faithful. First Mustang I really remember was a family friend who bought a red 68 coupe. Bucket seats were a real big deal to a 10 yr old boy who normally rode around in the family ranch wagon, lol...
  2. Chemical guys torqx swirl remover kit left haze on paint

I do vintage restorations and custom painting and I like Meguiars 105 followed by 205 and then carnuba wax. You can use a generic orange waffle pad for both going from medium pressure to light pressure. I've found guys tend to use too much pressure and that causes the haze.
  3. Does Ford Have a Mustang Surprise for the 60th Anniversary?

That might be because price is up 17% from last year! And they don't really look that good.
  4. I am on the verge of selling my Mustang guys...

2013 Boss 302 in yellow is on my short list of all time best looking Mustangs along with the 67 fastback in dark moss green and the 69 Boss in yellow. The 550's are good looking cars but honestly, they blatantly copied the profile and grill from an Aston DB9.
  5. I am on the verge of selling my Mustang guys...

If he's going to lease the M2, repair costs isn't an issue- should be under warranty for the 3 years of the lease unless he puts a lot of miles on it. Probably won't want to buy it at lease end since the residual will be stupid. I personally don't keep any new cars past the warranty since repair...
  6. Does Ford Have a Mustang Surprise for the 60th Anniversary?

I still have the 20 Years of Mustang poster that the dealer gave me when I bought my 84 GT. So I'd guess the 60 yr car will come out sometime in the summer as a 24 model yr. But maybe a 25...
  7. What do y’all do for a living?

I have 12, lol. I love the old 2 strokes and minitrails...
  8. What do y’all do for a living?

Oh yeah, went to vintage festival for 16 yrs in a row. Haven't been in the past couple years since it is just crazy crowded and parking is a complete mess. We always had a couple spots in the swap meet area, too. You're right, the museum is simply world class in every way and they've added all...
  9. What do y’all do for a living?

I don't work for them but a couple bikes I've done are in the museum- donated by a client who owned them. Most of the bikes I've done are in private collections.
  10. What do y’all do for a living?

Started out in aerospace as a flight test engineer, then bought a Suzuki shop and raced superbikes until it was obvious I wouldn't make it in the big time. Then a few years in ministry and now I restore vintage motorcycles which really doesn't pay much but is extremely gratifying (most of the...
  11. Prior Ponies

I had a 88 in the same colors as your 87... loved that car.
  12. Prior Ponies

My 66 GT coupe next to my 82 Capri RS and the 73 Jag XJ12. Wish I had all of them back, although the 66 drove like a dump truck, lol.
  13. Does anyone have a super smooth A10?

my great grandma had an old Sears catalog in the outhouse, lol. Do a little shopping and tear off a page when you are done.
  14. Does anyone have a super smooth A10?

I had a 18 F150 and it was horrible- clunky, jerky and generally a steaming pile of... The ZF that Chrysler uses is probably the gold standard. Super smooth in my Challenger and Ram. The 9sp in my Frontier is in between. Not as bad as the F150 but nowhere near as good as the ZF and it is a...
  15. Used mustang gt prices

Nice, that means the dealers around here will be forced to play ball... Ford must have some big direct dealer incentives.
