Hello there. I couple of you have asked about what I paid for the replacement seats and installation. As I recall I got the inexpensive cloth bucket seats from a mid west auto dismantler for about $400 + or - for the pair. The installation was just over $500 from the dealer to install and do...
I just went through DiscountTireDirect.com and put them in my cart to see if they are now charging tax....thats a big FAT yes!!!! Used to get them no tax and no shipping....was a good deal. They are cheaper than Tire Rack by a small amount but I think you pay shipping with TR.
Hahahaha....yep I know what you mean about that. I normally buy tires at Americas Tire which is the brick and mortar location of Discounttiredirect.com I've found the store will honor the online price which can be good because I used to pay no tax and no shipping....but who knows if its...
Hey thanks. I meant to put in my post I know all the usual places like Tire Rack, DiscountTireDirect, Walmart, etc. Was wondering if anyone has found any cheap places like Walmart was a few years back....when I didn't need them....:giggle:
I'm going to be in the market for tires....just the replacement stock non R tires. Where is everyone buying them currently? Thanks much and sorry for making a new thread.
I've always been told not to use any teflon tape on oil line fittings because of the risk of a small piece of it becoming dislodged and partially clogging a line. Not sure if its an old wives tale or not. Maybe a better choice would be the teflon paste.
I've done this to my car. I have posted some comments about on here...I don't know how you can find them. If you pm me I will give you my phone number and can tell you about it.
I answered some of your questions in my post. The Recaros don't have the power and ground you need for power seats. That has to be run from a junction behind the front left kick panel. I was told this by the tech who installed them for me. Anyway they work just fine and I'm happy with...
I changed my Recaros out for just plain cloth take outs from a 2015 Mustang. Sooooooooo happy I did that...makes the car much more enjoyable to drive. No heating or cooling in them...but they are power seats. Only paid like $550 for the pair from a dismantler in the mid west.
I've got AutoBlip installed and have no issues to date. I only use it on the track so it doesn't get much use. Took a bit of tweeking it to get the delay and intensity right where I like it. I give it high marks and their support is top notch as well.:like:
