So, I'm slowly gathering my parts to make my 2017 GT 6 speed quicker at the drag strip, while retaining as much of the street behaviour I currently enjoy
2019 intake manifold with 2018+ OEM airbox (and tune to make it all work)
4.09 gears
GT350 axles
BMR CB005, CB762H, TCA048
28" drag radials...
I picked up a take-off 2019 intake manifold over the weekend. It came complete with TB, fuel rails, injectors and IMRC. I know I can't use the TB or IMRC (will likely lockout) but what about the fuel rails and injectors & rails?
Not sure if this was directed to me or not, but I’ll give my 2 cents
I want to be able to tune anyway, so I’m gonna invest in a tuner as it is, so the added cost of a GT350 manifold covers my cost for a 2018 & an SCT tuner. I got a take off 2019 on order at a decent enough price that I feel this...
Aside from the easier/cleaner install without the IMRC, are there any benefits to not using them? I just ordered a 2018+ manifold and will likely install it over the next few months but was considering retaining the IMRCs. Car is a weekend warrior, planning on doing a few more drag strip...
Hold on. You thought this might be normal, just a little blurry compared to previously? How did you even leave the dealer without showing this to them immediately?
