Nice.
I got #12. But they didn't get the model quite right. Should have been done with white stripes, not black. Also the color of blue is supposed to be Deep Impact Blue, but the diecast model is some generic shade of blue.
I think you're mistaking this for the 1/10th scale RC car, which was released quite a while ago.
This is the 1/24 plastic model kit, which has not been released yet. The giveaway is sponsored by Tamiya for this Friday the 13th (of March), ahead of its summer release.
I'm looking forward to this model kit's release. Tamiya has a promotional give away, which gives one a chance to win one of these kits before its release.

New 1:32 scale diecast toy. Opening doors, hood & trunk. Plus, it has working lights and I believe also has engine sounds. Not your AUTOart quality kind of model, but still nice to see new GT350 models/toys on the market.
I saw it on opening weekend. Took the Shelby of course! :like:
If any of you are watch fans, you might be interested to know that Damon's Carroll Shelby is wearing a Heuer Carrera and Bale's Ken Miles is wearing a Heuer Autavia.

Toyota Supra vs. Ford Mustang Shelby GT350: Kicking Tail!
Toyota’s new sports coupe goes Head 2 Head...
Interesting write up, especially for those who like to ponder on such matters. :like:
But for me, the answer is a quick & simple no. The GT350 fits my needs perfectly, I don't need an R and don't need a 500. Just as I'm happy with my 911 Carrera S and don't need a GT3 or RS.
If it were me, easy choice - Ford Performance Blue. It looks consistently good in every pic I've seen. Velocity, sometimes very nice, sometimes not as much, depends on the lighting.
Nice to see the GT350 do so well again, its still got it. A few years back the GT350R also finished second, a head of the 991.2 Porsche 911 but behind a McLaren.
Based on looks alone, that Aston Martin DBS Superleggera would be my pick. It's one fine looking car.
