  1. Mach 1 vs. Mustang GT Premium

When I bought my 2020 Mustang GT PP2, the street price difference between my car and a comparable Mach 1 was over $25,000 CAD. I would have preferred a Mach 1 but it wasn't worth the 50% price increase. Of course, September 2020 was a much different market than today. Sep 2020 CAD Price...
  2. 2022 Build and Price is up!!

As GR1M noted, the PP1 and PP2 packages are significantly different. Most importantly, the $6500 PP2 package included MagneRide. The 2022 $6700 PP1 package does not, MagneRide is another $1695.
  3. My window sticker looks weird

You're going to love it, the red interior is incredible.
  4. Is magneride worth it?

The answer to the OPs question is quite simply yes. Magneride makes the car noticeably better in everyday driving.
  5. '22 California Special getting some changes

Not true, the early SN95 (1994 & 1995 models) had functional side scoops. #uselesstrivia
  6. Manuals Are Losers

My first car (parents hand me down) was a rear wheel drive automatic, I've been left foot braking since I was 16. I got pretty adept at it when I was stock car racing. I raced a '94 Escort GT in a 4-4-Fun class, the car was a manual but I could run the 3/8 mile paved oval in second gear (just...
  7. Bullitt dreams slashed for now, considering an Ecoboost.

Given the current prices on used cars, it's possible that it was a weekend toy for the original owner and they took the opportunity to sell the car for more than they paid.
  8. Challenger beats Mustang in sales.........

The 2015+ Mustang is larger and heavier than the 1971-73.
  9. Pricing a 2019 Mustang GT Premium PP2

I suggest checking your local market for Bullitts with similar mileage/condition and price matching those. A well optioned GT 401A PP2 had essentially the same MSRP as the Bullitt. Actually, I would price it at least $2K more than a comparable used Bullitt. The PP2 is rarer than the Bullitt and...
  10. What's so Special about a California???????

I was being pedantic about the padding and track times but the wrapped knee bolsters really are a nice touch. They are included on the 2018+ 401A package.
  11. What's so Special about a California???????

The Mustang option packages that include interior upgrades improve the visual and tactile experience every single time that you enter and occupy the vehicle. That may not be worth the price of admission for you but as you can see on this thread, for many of us it was money very well spent...
  12. Snow tires for Mustang GT Premium with Performance Package?

I drove my PP2 occasionally last winter on a set of 19" Continental Viking Contact 7s. As long as there is less than 3 inches of snow on the roads, the Mustang is better in winter driving than my Tacoma. The PP rear end is amazing, the PP brakes are amazing and snow/wet mode works. I would 110%...
  13. What made you order or buy a new Mustang?

I usually buy used vehicles but I bought my 2016 Tacoma and my latest Mustang new because there was essentially no cost savings to buying used over new. When I was shopping for a used Tacoma in the Fall of 2015, 2-3 year old trucks in the spec I wanted were selling for $35-36K and interest on a...
  14. Winter - Help!

Based on your profile picture, it looks like your car would have come with the Michelin PS4S tires. Be very careful if you will be driving the car occasionally in sub zero weather. I also recommend that you verify with Michelin about storing the PS4S below freezing temperatures. I know that...
  15. Bullitt dreams slashed for now, considering an Ecoboost.

I agree that if you can get a new Ecoboost now for X Plan, and you were planning to get an Ecoboost for your wife anyway, it makes more sense to buy the new car now and hold off on the used Bullitt. Hopefully, the used market will settle sooner than later. There sure are some uninformed...
